Have your 1 second of glory Browns fans.

Wait! How many rings do you have? Oh yea? ZERO!!!!!

Can't be a winner every year, unlike the Browns who can be losers every year. :rotfl:

It stinks to watch them lose and lose and lose , but I still luv them.

Yes, we still love them. Win or lose, we don't have to dig our our Steelers shirts and gear because we stick with our team good or bad. And it's mostly good. No one else has as many rings as the Steelers!

With the way they've been playing this season, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs this year. :headache: Hopefully next year will be better.

When a talented team loses 5 games in the manner the Steelers have it points to a coaching problem.

It seems like Tomlin (or more specifically Dick Lebeau) has lost the team.

Ward's comments about the team being 50/50 on Big Ben not playing seem to be ringing true. The Steelers don't seem to be a cohesive unit right now (or for the last 5 weeks).

coaching problem, yes-dick lebeau needs to retire and bruce however you spell his name arrians has got to be fired. they also have to take away those heated seats and make em stand on the side line,it looked as if they just wanted to sit down and warm up.:sad2:

Tomlin inherited a terrific team from The Chin, but those guys are starting on the downside of their careers. The Steelers have abandoned their running game and they have historically been a "Run First" team. But their offensive line just isn't that good, and hoping that their passing game will open up the run doesn't work when your QB holds the ball too long looking for the big play and the line cannot protect him. The Browns, using a bunch of second stringers and guys who weren't even on the roster three weeks ago, sacked Rothlisberger 8 times and three times it was with a three man rush.

Since Cowher left, have the Steelers added anyone thru free agency or the draft who really is a game changer or difference maker? Unfortunately for Steeler fans, I don't Tomlin is all that good as a talent evaluator and your team may be starting a long, slow slide into mediocrity.

It's Bruce Arians fault in my opinion. He needs to go.

yes and no. The Steelers had the lead in the 4th quarter in 5 of 7 games they lost. The defense couldn't stop the other team.

We also can 't run the ball to eat the clock anymore. That is not Arians' fault. We need a better O-line.

I always thought Cowher was over-rated. Belichick out coached him repeatedly.

I've been a Browns fan for over 47 years, despite living half those years in the Pittsburgh area. People around here are so over-the-top nuts about sports, it's always good to see the Steelers lose, especially at the hands of the Browns. In the grand scheme of things, a bunch of paid athletes playing for the city is not so important that it should be the top story on the evening news many nights a week. I only wear my Browns shirt around Pittsburgh to tease my friends, it's not an essential wardrobe piece like all the Steelers gear.

The Steelers played very tight and not on the same page with each other. The Browns are a bunch of no names trying to make a name for themselves for 2010. Cleveland has lost a ton of games, but since they finally decided on a full time QB, things have started to look better.

Cowher coaching in his hometown would right the ship in Cleveland quickly.

We need a better O-line.

Arians is the offensive coordinator. The O-line has been a problem for a few years now and as Arians is ultimately in charge, it's his responsiblity.

Oh well, way I look at it, it's just like last time. Win the Super Bowl and then have an 8-8 season the next year.

We still have 6 and we still have the Pens. :thumbsup2

I respect fans who stick with their team through thick and thin. We don't live in Pittsburgh and get some trash talk when we wear our Steelers gear here but we put up with it anyway because that's the team we like.

We don't travel to Pittsburgh much during football season anymore, but we were there last Dec. and you're right--Pittsburgh fans are indeed over the top with black & gold everywhere. : ) Football is big in PA, and it's not just professional football. College and even high school football are a big deal there.

I'm hoping that the Steelers will pull themselves together to do well in their remaining games and for the next season.

Yes I realize the O-line is part of the offense. But if you don't have the talent there is nothing you can do.

Something happened. They started out 6-2 and looked like a dominating team and then POOF! Where'd our Superbowl team go? As somone stated we went 8-8 after Superbowl XL and came back 2 years later for our 6th Superbowl win.

Don't get me wrong. It sucks, because the guys definetly aren't in sinc. Not so worried this year, if it carries over and we look the same next year , then its a time to worry.

Pittsburgh is definetly into their football and we expect alot from the Steelers. One losing season isn't the end of the world, though it seems like it right now. Cleveland has them year after year. ;)

And for your info: **Cowher is from Pittsburgh not Cleveland.**

Ugh! I was born near Cleveland and raised on the Browns...but am engaged to somebody who now lives in Pittsburgh. When I visit my partner there, I am constantly astonished at the quantity of everything that is Steelers related. You can't go into a grocery store without seeing a whole isle-full of Steelers merchandise. :scared1: That is not easy for a girl born and raised in Cleveland. And my partner really wants me to move there!

I mentioned this on the other Steeler thread. I am in shock at how poorly they played. It's embarrassing for them. I was watching some commentary on ESPN a while ago and they were discussing the fact that there is no true leader on the team and that Roethlisberger needs to step into that role better. Oh, and he needs to get rid of the ball faster. Man, 8 sacks in one game!:scared1:

I still think Mike Tomlin can get the team back on track next season.

Give them some credit after all they are an EXPANSION team. : )

Easy to do when you have film you are not supposed to!

Pittsburgh loves their black and gold! You do see black and gold everyday , just not game day! You see it in church, at school at the grocery store even at weddings!
All football is big you are right! What other city would have not 1, not 2 but 3 semi pro WOMENS football teams?
(Although I am very partial to the Pittsburgh Passion who are broadcast into more than 10 million homes a game!!!!!)
