How busy is it around lunchtime?
Is it possible to get there without a reservation around 11:30-12:30 and get a table right away or should we expect to wait?

Last week, the hostess told me the bar/lounge area was completely closed. Maybe it was just for that one night?

I'm not sure there are proper dining tables in the lounge. There's the bar, which has plenty of stools & you can definitely eat your meal there, and then a lounge seating area that is more like a living room with lower coffee and end tables. You can also eat in there but depending on what you order it might be awkward to eat (like soup for example). We dined there (in the main restaurant) a few weeks ago in its opening days and the lounge was not busy at all but that was before word got out ... especially about that burger! One note, we had a noon reservation and the lounge was just opening (but again was also early days of operations) so check the hours.

anyone been to the lounge recently- would like to go mid afternoon in a couple weeks. how hard to get in?

We were at the lounge Friday night around 8:30. We were able to walk in and get seats easily while waiting for our table. However, the full menu is not available at the bar- just the lounge menu w/ a few of the appetizers.

they wouldn't allow walking in - you had to sign in with the desk and they assigned you a seat. This was midafternoon though

We were there last Tuesday around 5PM while the rest of our group was at Chef Mickey. The hostess said that the lounge was open seating. We got seats at the bar without any problem and ordered off of the bar menu. Didn't see anyone ordering from the full menu. We ordered the crab cakes, burger and an order of onion rings. Everything we had was great.
