Steakhouse 71 breakfast vs dinner?

We're staying at the Contemporary (first time!) Aug 14-21, and I'm thinking of making a reservation at Steakhouse 71. Thoughts on breakfast vs dinner?

Also, we saw a review of dinner and the brioche looked good...can you get that at the lounge, even though it's not on the menu? (Thinking if we decide against doing Steakhouse 71 for dinner)

Dinner was really good. Great service, steaks perfectly cooked, brioche was delicious and plenty to share. Desserts looked amazing, but we were too full. Has a Vegas-y vibe.

Many on the DIS swear that lunch (the burger) is the best in case lunch is an option for you.

We haven't done breakfast, but given that the menu is pretty basic breakfast food and I don't think there is much ambiance at that time, I would stick with lunch or dinner.

I suspect they'd accommodate the brioche in the lounge.

We’ve never been for breakfast, we’re not big breakfast people. I’m one of those that swears it’s the best lunch tho. We’ve probably been 5 or 6 times since they opened. My husband & son had the burger the first time & agreed it’s the best burger at WDW. I’ve had the turkey club, French onion soup, the brioche rolls, the chopped salad, onion rings & the prime rib sandwich. While everything is delicious, the onion rings & prime rib sandwich are outstanding. We went for dinner once, my husband had the fillet & said it was delicious. I had the prime rib & it was just average. We’re trying dinner again in July but we’re also going for lunch a different day. We have had the brioche a few times, it was good, just not our preference. We love the crusty rolls at Chefs of France or Hollywood Brown Derby. So those rolls are just not our favorite bread option.

I did breakfast on my last trip. Service was good as expected. Food was good,but one and done. Next on my list is California Grill.
