The Japanese Certified A5 Waygu and/or Kobe, Have you had it? Was it worth it?
It was $100/lb when I saw it. NY strip I recall. But it was easy to spot. The marbling is insane.I've not ever had it but with a Costco price of $166 a pound, I'm thinking, for me, not worth it.
What was it though? There are tons of variations, including hybrids. I think it’s about more than the fat. The protein is supposed to have excellent flavor.Had a Wayou hotdog on the Caesars Palace Buffett.
Tasted like a hotdog. Seemed like poor use of special beef.
An entire tenderloin or cut filet mignon? I saw discussions of this, and many Costcos have it in ribeye.

I guess it was Buffet grade. It really seemed like a gimmick. What was it though? There are tons of variations, including hybrids. I think it’s about more than the fat. The protein is supposed to have excellent flavor.
Oh that's much better, a month's grocery budget on a single steak vs. a month and a halfIt was $100/lb when I saw it. NY strip I recall. But it was easy to spot. The marbling is insane.
