Did anyone see the episode of 'Escape to the Sun' where the family went to a steak restaurant, the father ordered a HUGE steak, was paraded round the restaurant with the raw meat, the deal was that if he ate it all it would be free! Needless to say DS and his friend want to try this (think their eyes might be bigger than their bellies), but I can't remember which restaurant it was - can anyone help?!

Yes I did see that and can't imagine anyone being able to eat all that, though I do remember them saying a 14 year old girl made a pretty good job of it. Wasn't it about 62 or 64oz?

Was it called Cattlemans something or something Cattlemans. I could be remembering that wrongly I'm afraid.

Here as a link to a recent post <a href="http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=351709&highlight=%2Brestaurant+%2Bsteak">link</a> about this :D

62 - 64 ozs thats like a really large joint of meat for a family of 4!!!

There was mountains of it and they did give out the cost but I can't remember what it was now. The guy they showed taking the challenge made a very poor effort. They weighed what was left and then boxed it up for him to take home.

I would luv to meet the person that could finish that!!!!

Thanks for the suggestions and the link. Have done a quick search on Google and can't find anything that seems to fit the bill. Must admit the pile of raw meat did look pretty disgusting - it was huge!
