Hi
We are staying off site about 20 minutes away. How long should we plan to get into MK.

Thanks

Where exactly are you staying and does your resort/hotel offer transportation to WDW? If your hotel offers transportation I always recommend that to avoid the hassles of the MK parking lot. However, if you do decide to drive in, allow yourself at least one hour prior to the time that you intend to enter the park gates, in addition to your driving time you have to factor in waiting in traffic at the parking toll booth, waiting for parking trams, and then the trip from TTC (monorail is the fastest method) all the way to the MK entrance.

20 minutes?!?! If your 20 minutes away, it should take 20 minutes to get there. Now if you are 20 minutes from the entrance of the WDW property, then you have another 5 or so miles to travel to get to the MK parking lot. Time of day is important as well. I have never found it a problem once you turn onto WDW property (I usually enter from Rte 192), but traffic on 192 can get pretty slow during the normal rush hours. It also can make a difference if you are coming from the West, East, North or South. That's information we don't have.

20 minutes drive time to the TTC parking area, then you have to take a tram to the TTC to get a monorail or ferry to the MK and finally go through security and the entry gates, after the 20 minute drive time everything else could take you roughly 20-40 minutes so give yourself one hour from the time you get in your car.
