Staying off site - Disney Christmas Decorations

My family and I are staying off site from 11/21 - 11/28. I was wondering since we are staying off site, can we visit the Disney Resorts to see the Xmas Decorations? If so, where would you recommend we go/do?

Absolutely! I'd start at the GF and then take the monorail to the CR. I'd be sure to also check out the Epcot resorts, as well as WL and AKL, as all have beautiful decorations.

I would agree with kmb584 and don't for get the Poly, the Big 3 of the
Resort line. GF, in particular, is spectacular.

I was going to mention the Poly, but we were there last week and the lobby has a small check-in area to the left and then the center is walled off. I'm not sure how they're going to decorate it this holiday season as it almost seems impossible with the refurb going on.

And take the water taxi to Wilderness Lodge!

Park at the TTC. Then monorail over to the GF. Then to the CR and then boat to WL. At this point you have a few options. You could take the bus from WL to DHS..then boat or walk to BW, S/D, YC/BC. After viewing those, bus to AK and then transfer to the AKL bus. Then bus back to MK and monorail or ferry back to the TTC. Those are the must see resorts.
