Staying Downtown Hilton

We are staying at the Hilton for three days starting 27 Dec - Is the Hilton one of the nicest Downtown resorts?

I haven't stayed there, so I can't comment on whether or not it is one of the nicest. But, I believe they are the only DTD hotel that has access to early entry at the Parks. That is a nice perk. They also have access to eRide nights, as do the other DTD hotels.

I did visit there once to use their business center as I had to turn in my students' grades while we were on our Disney trip and needed access to a computer. The place looked really nice.

I have stayed at the Hilton and at the Wyndham Palace, they are both nice hotels. The locations for both are fantastic, the rooms were adequate in size. I liked the fact that the Wyndham had balconies, but, the Hilton room we had last overlooked DD and we could watch the fireworks at DD and at Epcot from our bed every night. I also like the Wyndham because they have a playground, and I have small kids. But, DD has alot for them to do, so it was no big deal.

We stayed at the Wyndham in 2000 and our room was very clean, we stayed at the Hilton in 2002 and the room was very clean, we stayed at the Hilton in 2003 and our room was clean, but in need of some refurbishment in the bathroom area, we didn't switch because we liked the view so much, we overlooked the needed repairs. You can't go wrong at either hotel.
