Hello! I walked 6.18 miles this morning. It was dark and overcast, meaning sunrise wasn't worth the stop for pictures. In fact, the only pic I did take was of me in the driveway, pleased that I remembered to bring my rain jacket. I didn't need it until the last mile and a half. It wasn't heavy rain, but enough that I would have been really damp without it. You can see the water beading up on my hood brim.

I actually cut my walk short a little so I could start assessing things for the upcoming winter weather. Assuming we have power, it's looking like Sunday may end up being a day on the walking pad and a break from the real gym. I'm getting pretty anxious because we're well below the snow line and they're thinking freezing rain instead of sleet. With our trees, that could mean a lot of ice bringing down limbs...which could also mean power outages. Really hoping this isn't awful. As it is, this area does not do well with hard freeze events and really cannot handle ice.
