My family twin DS's 7 and DH are going on our 2nd trip to WDW June 6-13 :cool1: We will be arriving June 5th around 10:00pm and staying at the Hyatt. I am expecting to get on a 7:30am ME bus for CSR. Has anyone used ME after staying at the Hyatt? I have spoken to ME on the telephone and the CM told me to bring my luggage to the ME area at MCO.

I haven't heard of anyone being refused by ME.

I can hardly wait. June seems like an eternity. :Pinkbounc

I called last Friday and asked this question, "I want to stay at Hyatt due to plane arrival at 11pm, can DME bus pick us up the following day?" She said it won't work cause our luggage will be at the resort cause it will have the DME tag on them. So I ended up changing the flight and got a morning arrival so I can use the DME bus.

I am thinking that the flight number you give for whatever date it is, that is when you will get picked up and no other dates. I guess Disney doesn't want us to wonder off else where but to stay on their property.

I think you can use ME after staying at the Hyatt if you simply DON'T put the ME luggage tags (with the barcodes) on your bags when you fly. Simply collect them from the carousel as you normally would, go to the Hyatt, bring your bags back in the AM and present yourself for ME service along with your bags.
Just a theory, but it sounded plausible when I typed it.

Can you use ME if you are staying at the Hyatt? I thought it was only available for those staying at the actual Disney resorts on property.

For the CRS portion of her stay..... :flower:

I agree. I would just tell them you are arriving 7:00 the next morning, find a flight number that corresponds with that time, and don't put the tags on your bags. When you arrive the night before, collect your bags and go upstairs to the hotel.

Then the next morning, go down to the ME check-in desk with your bags, and off you go.

I don't think it will be a problem.
