Ok, I'm going to be a party pooper by not continuing on with the Dr. Seuss stuff because I wanted to mention something.
I don't know much about chemicals that may or may not be in your bottled water, but I did want to mention that buying spring water in plastic water uses a LOT of petroleum. Oil is used in the production of the plastic. ANd it is used to ship the bottles.
Instead, you could bring a filtered water pitcher and fill up a resuable aluminum water bottle. You have the initial post of the filterring system and the bottle, but don't have to pay $2.50 for water.
Well, you could just make a fire, get some water from the lakes or lagoons and then boil it. Everyone's safe.
Hmm, now how and where can I make a fire at WDW????

oh the horror, the dilemma. what do we do for our water?
So, now on the list of what might kill you at WDW:
1. Amoebas
2. Alligators
3. Snakes
4. Bottled Water
5. Cell Phones (they can cause brain cancer)
6. Monorails (don't cell and operate hovercraft)
7. Rides
8. An oversaturation of Pixie Dust.
Anything I'm missing?
oh, but the machinery to mine the ore to make aluminum surely uses diesel. the transportation of aluminum billets, for sure those awful diesel tractor trailors. and the smelting plants to make the aluminum, well Lord knows all the soot they spew into the atmosphere not to mention the fuel they burn for heat.

Apparently being groped by Donald Duck will cause so many health problems... - if it quacks, avoid it.....
On a more serious note...since we're talking about avoiding plastic bottles...HydroFlask is set to offer DISers a discount on their flasks, AND give a donation to GKTW to boot!

Ooh that IS good news!! I've been wanting to get one of these. Has the code come out yet?
Now back to your regularly scheduled shenanigans....![]()
Can someone please tell me if they are having any Snake Lake Water tastings at the F & W Festival this year? If they are a special F & W dining experience I need to know so I can purchase my reservation soon if they aren't already sold out.
My family is going for an 8 day stay in a month and I need some advice. We are really trying to stay within our budget. Has anyone had any luck bringing snakes into the park and requesting ice water to put them in? If so, where do you purchase them in Orlando? It has been a real pain flying with them ever since that damn Snakes on a Plane movie.
Also, do they need refrigerated or can I just keep them at room temperature?
