Define "smoother". Typically, the lower and more midship you are, the less movement you'll feel. There are tradeoffs for moving higher or off the midline.
My preference - deck 2. But I didn't really feel a whole lot of difference up on deck 10.
Thank You! I did book a stateroomm on deck 2, but was thinking of changing it to deck 8. But, yes deck 2 it is then.
Smoother: as in smooth sailing not to much movements.

... and the buffet ! On deck 2, you might feel more engine noise/vibration but I agree that the feel for the movement of the ship itself will not be different from one deck to the next. The entire ship is rocking.
