I was just wondering if the Starbucks in CA is open yet or if there is a scheduled opening date for the location planned inside the park? We arrive on 6/26 and we are hoping to get our morning fix at least on our CA days:rotfl:

I believe it opens June 15th. Looking forward to a vanilla latte myself!

Is that just the DCA location with the DL location to follow? Needs me some good java, and the reports of Nescafe leave me wanting. :( Is the coffee in the lobby @ DLH decent? Planning to bring travel mugs for the walk to the parks in the AM since me thinks they might frown on me bringing an IV with me. ;)

At this point the pig cafe Starbucks is a test run, if all goes well then look forward to a location in Disneyland (my guess either Jolly Holiday or Market House) and likely DTD.

I think I read it was supposed to be in Carnation Cafe when it reopens in July. Not sure if it was a rumor or what, but all the domestic parks will be getting them. I have heard nothing about them going into DTD.

I am sure they will end up in all Disney parks and I think you are right that the rumor mill has stated Carnation Cafe, which I assume will have a walk up window if this is true (since up to know was a sit-down/table service). But I also remember reading that it was all contingent on everything going smoothly with the Pig Cafe. And it is only my gut/opinion that there will be one in DTD too.

The new cafe in California Adventure should open by the end of next week, but the new Carnation Cafe in Disneyland Park may not be (it was still under construction this week). I don't know how picky you are about coffee, but I did notice that Peet's Coffee is sharing space with the Haagen-Dazs shop in Downtown Disney, which would give you an alternative to Nescafe if you're not at DCA.

I just saw the menu board on another site and actually not bad! :)

Yes its a bit higher than a regular SB chain but by my estimate only about 75 cents more roughly with every size.

The Frappucinos (my favorite and most expensive) are about $4.29 for small, $5.00 for medium and $5.50 for a large. I honestly thought the large sizes would be around $6-7 dollars, so thats pretty good! I wonder if they offer AP discounts because that would be even better lol. I assume if other cofffee places does they would, but I have no clue on that.

We were able to go to Buena Vista Street today, and the Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe was open. I really liked it. People were enjoying coffee and other treats in there. I really enjoy how it is set up, and the decor there.

Can you use the regular Starbucks gift cards/gold card there? Anyone know yet?

I didn't know there was coffee in the lobby of the hotels (we stayed concierge at PPH both times, 2nd time we were Big Kahuna family, so it was a free upgrade!). The rooms in PPH have individual coffee things that we, as big coffee drinkers, find useless; we drink WAY too much coffee for that to work for us :drinking1 When we go to DL, we bring our coffee pot and travel mugs. The coffee in the parks (Nescafe) isn't great, but our family prefers it to Starbucks (burnt, strong and overpriced are not my coffee requirements, lol) to be honest, but we prefer almost anything but instant to Starbucks.

I believe Carnation Cafe is scheduled to open on 6/13. We have ADRs there for 6/16.

Starbucks at Target and grocery chains let you use your gold card, so I don't know why these wouldn't.

There isn't - well, at least not anymore. DLH used to have coffee in the lobby of the individual towers, but that has been discontinued since the remodel. When I was there in January, I was directed to the coffee shop for fresh hot coffee. I do believe there was a coffee maker in the room. I just prefer real cream/milk to the powdered stuff, which is why I was looking for their coffee service.

That powder stuff is gross!

So will there be one inside DCA and Disneyland? Or will it be at DD?
