Fastpasses for visiting Celebrities are distributed before park opening so you must get there early (around 6:30am) One fastpass per celebrity ,per day. There are a number of standby's that are given but are not guaranteed. They given them to the right of the turnstiles, there will be a line for each celeb.Then you go at your designated time to the Celebs Tent (around Echo Lake) and wait for about 10min. 1 autograph per person. Unless it's raining or too hot, then they'll move to sign inside Sounds Dangerous. Each autograph session is an hour.

Shows at the Premiere Theater
Stars of the Saga: Q & A show hosted by James Armold Taylor, the visiting SW celebs will be introduced and talk about their experience with the SW Universe, there are usually videos and pictures involved. (movie making, costumes, sets,etc)

Behind the Force: All about the Clone Wars cartoon hosted by Ashley Eckstein. The visiting Clone Wars celeb and Ashley show how they do voice-over, they usually pick people from the crowd to do voice over at the end they show a sneak peek at next season's show.

Visit To The Maul: Hosted by Ray Park, he shows how he uses martial arts to create the character of Darth Maul, kids are picked randomly earlier in the day to take a lesson with Ray on martial arts. (only first 2 weekends)

Obi Wan and Beyond: Hosted by James Arnold Taylor, he shows all the different voices he does for different shows, cartoons and commercials.

Padawan Mind Challenge (Hat Stage) 2:10pm and 6:30pm

Ok, did they have merchandise under a tent last year, we didn't get to go, but in 2010, it was in the shop where you come off of The Backlot Tour and it was not the best location. One year they had it in the building next to Toy Story, which seemed to be much better.

Yes, it was in a huge tent behind RnRC. It was fabulous because the A/C really worked well in there!!

There is also some merchandise in various kiosks etc in the park, but the majority of it is in the tent. Yulilin3 has already posted that the tent is up and getting ready for this year.

Yes they had the merch tent last year next to RnRC...It's awesome!! really big and roomy...there are rumors that Imagineers have taken over the Soundstage next to Toy Story Mania and that's why they had to move the merchandise place. I agree, The Backlot Tour shop was a nightmare

Thanks for this!!! We are there the entire first weekend - all 3 days and probably at least one day of the 2nd weekend...... depending on what DS wants to do......... we could be there that entire weekend too!! LOL

Darth Vader and cupcakes go together like oil and water, but Star Wars fans are sure to get a kick out of this creation for the upcoming Star Wars Weekends. The "Darth Vader" cupcake will be sold at the Starring Rolls Bakery, ABC Commissary, Backlot Express, Studio Catering Company, and Pizza Planet.

The new D-Tech Me Carbon Freeze Me experience will debut during 2012 Star Wars Weekends and is now available to book for a limited time only. Using the latest 3D facial scanning technology, you can receive a personalized 8-inch figurine of yourself "frozen" in carbonite like Han Solo in Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back. The Carbon Freezing Chamber will be located adjacent to The American Idol Experience.

Reservations are required for this experience and may be made now through June 16, 2012, by contacting 407-939-8324. NOTE: Same-day reservations cannot be made within two hours of a reservation time. Event Dates: May 18, 2012 through June 16, 2012. Price: $99.95 plus shipping and taxes per person (maximum of two people per reservation). You'll also receive a light-up wristband for participating. You can order additional figurines using the same image scan for $74.95 each. It will take up to four weeks for you to receive your figurine.

No discounts apply unless otherwise noted. You must be at least 3 years old to participate, and children must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age or older during the entire experience. Oh wow, that Carbon Freeze Me thingy is now capturing my attention.

What do the guys think? Now I'm wondering if this would make a good Father's Day present for DH and/or a birthday present for DS. His B-Day is in June. I was already thinking of getting a Darth Maul B Day card and having Ray Park sign it for DS.

It's a bit pricey but it would be very personable. Hmmmm.....
