So I have been waiting to see if they add time for SW Fireworks in HS this summer (we will be there late June) and they have not. Has anyone heard anything about them discontinuing the show?

They'll be here for quite awhile. Don't worry at all

Since there will be another SW film at the end of the year, I expect they'll continue them.

Just a tip, in case you haven't seen them...don't think of them as SW FW, you'll be disappointed. Think of it was a projection show with occasional pyrotechnical aspects and it will be enjoyable. After seeing the actual SW firework show last May then SWAGS in January it was quite the let down.

No kidding. I didn't even realize there was two different shows. So the projection is on the main stage screen? So that whole area must be pretty swamped for everyone to see the projection.

The previous one was Symphony in the Stars and while I only was able to see it once, it was amazing and made it into the top 3 shows I've seen (up there with DL's Remeber and Halloween Screams). The way they used the lasers and firework bursts, paired with the score and quotes, it blew my mind. I had high hopes for SWAGS, especially after how much I enjoyed the previous show, but I did not realize how projection heavy it would be, with a very occasional firework here and there.

I watched from right after a walkway break on Hollywood blvd so no tall people were directly in front of me but it was still a struggle to see the projections. You really have to be close and at a good angle to get a groom view

You guys are a buzz kill :badpc::tongue:... So the show I saw last year was Symphony. So you are all telling me SWAGS is not as great and not sure my toddler son will even be able to see it if it is all on main stage.. Another reason to skip HS. If I didn't have Hollywood and Vine booked (I am a sucker for characters in seasonal garb. What can I say?) I would drop HS from my plans until next year especially for our June trip. Even if we go in Dec with no Osborne I am not sure I can bring myself to go to this park any more lolz....

Yeah, I have to agree with @pixie08 I'm a bit worried now. Last year there were such rave reviews about the Symphony show. I thought SWAGS was the same thing, just with added projections etc... My kids want more fireworks than projections. Just how far and in between are the fireworks? Is there still music? Is there a video online to preview the show?

3. Is there a video online to preview the show?

1. Not to worry.
2. Of course.
3. Dozens.

The "largest" concern, you didn't mention...
It's the far-too-small prime viewing area.
