star tours seatbelts?

I am a little concerned about fitting into the seat for Star Tours. I can fit into the seat for Soarin' if that helps. Just wondering how big the seatbelts are for Star Tours?

ABout the same as Soarin'. Shouldn't be a problem. Just pull the seatbelt all the way out before sitting down.

The seatbelts have a lot of give to them. I know this because DD used 2 hands and pulled the seatbelt practically over her head and snapped it in. 5 people could have fit under that belt! The Cast Member working had to press a button to release it so we could fit it properly.

Yep. It's a good rule of thumb with Disney seatbelts if you're not an ittybitty person; pull them ALL the way out and THEN sit down. Just makes things easier. (works on Indy, too)

Are the new seats smaller than the previous Star Tours? Wondering because I fit fine in the original, but if the new seats have been miniaturized, then.... well... not sure about that then. No, really.....

I don't believe so.

The belts are pretty long. I'm 6'3, 290lbs and how no problems with them.

Well, I'm 6'7"/350lbs and I was able to fit on the new Star Tours with no problems. Still can't fit in Space Mountain, but that's another story.
