star tours ride queue

My 4 year old loves star wars but I know he won't like the ride. We have a group of 5 going. Can we all wait in line for the ride so he can see the ride queue and then he and another can chicken exit? Is that ok to do?

Sure, just tell the CM they're going to walk thru the simulator and meet up with you after the ride.

As long as he is taller is tall enough for the ride. If he is too short they won't let him in the libe

If it's super slow, and the cms are feeling nice, they may be able to put you in a non-moving flight. The cms did that for me one year, the got me on a personal, one person flight - they just turned off the motors. Now, the fact that it was SWWs, I was a Rebel Legion member who had marched that day, and I knew some of the cms who worked there may have had something to do with it too! I also have epilepsy, so I think they were also being xtra nice that day! It can be done, but only ask if ST is slow that day or time. Be nice.

Are you sure he won't like it? My DD did not like thrill rides when she was young, but I told her Star Tours would feel like she was going somewhere but she was really just sitting in one place in a room that bounced to make it feel like you were moving and somehow that made her secure and it was one of her absolute favorite rides. She felt much safer there than hurtling down a track at BMTRR. She still hates BTMRR and she is 9 now.

He's tall enough, he's 45 inches so he can wait in the line. I just didn't think he would like the ride since it's real jerky. Though he could totally surprise me and like it but I don't want to force him. We did a local ride that was the polar express and you watch parts of the movie on a screen and the movie theater seats move and shake like the train and it was really loud and that freaked him out! We ran out of there after 30 seconds! So I didn't want to push my luck but I remember the ride queue being so cool and he would love to see that. I always liked Star Tours but Body Wars made me sick and that was the same kind of ride.

You can, however honestly the queue really isn't worth it to drag him through the line and then take him out. It's cool, but it really isn't great. You can kill plenty of time in Tatooine Traders.
