Stacking gold and water park AP's

I used to get the premium AP that included the water parks and DQ. They no longer offer that option. The water park only comes with the platninum plus now. I went with the gold. It is cheaper to add the water park than to go up to the platinum plus.

Can I purchase just a water park pass? And is it seperate in that it will have a different expiration date than my gold pass? Will I have different cards or can I add the pass to my MB? Thanks.

yes you can purchase separately, yes it will have a different expiration date. We have Gold and Water Park - the mickey band for Gold does not tie to the water parks though, as we have separate ticket cards for the water parks. it works out just fine.

FYI
I just spent 750 (including tax) to renew my older plain land park AP and upgraded to the Platinum +. Now I get land parks and the water parks for less than getting 2 stand alone passes. This is best if you if you choose not to have a gap in your annual pass periods.

I used to let one expire and then get a fresh one after a month or two of lapsing, but for me I will not let any time lapse this year.
