St. Thomas Excursions/ Daysail Fantasy

Okay, I am a lurker of the last few months, who just booked a first Disney Cruise for the November 15th Eastern this year! (Anyone else out there booked for that one yet? Our family includes my DH, DS 8, and DS 4 -will be 5 by the cruise.) I love this board, and have already picked up a ton of good tips! I also love reading everybody's trip reports, and promise to reciprocate after we go.
I found the link to Daysail Fantasy on the links page on Dave's DCL Site, and am wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with them? Their six hour charter sounds wonderful for snorkeling, and beach combing without the crowds.
I understand they leave from Red Hook. How far is that from the dock Disney uses?
Any other tips for Non-Disney excursions are welcome too!

My husband and I will be on that cruise for our 25th anniversary. We are getting very excited even though it seems so far away. We are not bringing the children this trip. Our daughters are 16 and 20.

We are taking a day sail on the Winifred in May at St. Thomas (9:00 AM til 3:00 PM). I researched the day sails and narrowed it down between the Fantasy and the Winifred. I read the posts on CruiseCritic.com and one family had booked both the Winifred and Fantasy at the same time because they had a large group of people. They recommended the Winifred over the Fantasy, and after talking to both captains, I decided to go with the Winifred. I have heard good things about both, so I'm sure either will be fine. I can let you know how we like the Winifred when we return the end of May.

Red Hook is about a 15-20 minute taxi ride from the cruise docks.

We just booked the Fantasy for our New Year's Eve cruise. We had also had it narrowed down to the Winifred and the Fantasy, but after talking to the captains, felt we were more compatible with the one on the Fantasy and she seemed more willing to accommodate our requests.
