St. Kitts - cockleshell beach by taxi

hello! I will be on the Feb 7th Disney Wonder departing from San Juan with my mom and best friend; cannot wait! Is anyone not doing the excursions and going off by themselves?

I would definitely like to travel to cockleshell beach by taxi as I've seen it only costs about $30 one way for a small group. However my mom is terrified of going off by ourselves while I have more of an adventuring spirit ️ Is anyone planning the same thing or would like to tag along? What non Disney "excursions" are you planning?

As a bonus any plans for staying the night at The Marriott in San Juan? Would like to group up and explore the town a bit!

Just got back. St Kitts has an easy walk off pier with taxi drivers within very short walking distance and clearly marked. They are friendly! Take the taxi to the Marriott and enjoy a day pass for 30$US. Right on the beach, free cabanas, towels, huge clean pool, great tiki bar and restaurant. Great beach with perfect sand. 10 minutes from the port. Our driver, Gregory, was the best. No RSVP required at Marriott. Kids are welcomed! ATM on site. Beautiful place.
