Oh, believe me my dear friend, you will LOVE her surprise. And NO I am NOT telling.

Hope Drew's team did well, and hope you didn't have any effects of the weather.

No issues for us with the weather, and none for Matt either! Just talked to him this evening and he said some other places had problems with limbs falling, but outside his apartment he couldn't tell anything had happened.

With an extra month to prepare, for some reason I think the "surprise" may end up being bigger than expected!

BTW, next round of contest questions is FINALLY UP on my TR!

Sounds like a wonderful day! Can't beat the weather here today!!! We visited Long Grove years ago. Haven't been back since but when you said the words apple butter well I'm almost running out the door. We've ate at the Nashville House in Nashville, Indiana, and they serve these hot biscuits that they serve apple butter with. OMG I could eat the whole basket!!!!!! Perhaps I have ate half the basket. Enjoy your week and counting down to your trip.

The weather has been beautiful the last four days. Mark LOVES his apple butter. If we go back in October/November, I can always pick one up for you and ship it out.

Glad everyone is okay -- Matt, you, etc. Oh, Rosie has the "surprise" ready, but chose to wait until October for a few reasons.

I saw his FB status earlier today. We aren't that far from each other, although he's futher inland and more elevated than we are. We're fine...roof is fine...basement suffered minimal flooding, thank god. We're that much close rto book a February trip!

Kat, I do love all the old pictures. LOVE the Eeyore ears on Mark!!!! I have the older Tigger ears like that, and get asked all the time where to buy them. Got them in 2005 when we were evacuated from Hurricane Wilma in the Keys. It is pretty awesome having things that you can no longer get

Aren't those ears great? I have the Tigger ears myself; and you are right, you can't get them anymore. People have offered to buy Mark's Eeyore ears.
