Wonderful that Nicki & Todd like POFQ! It is such a pretty little resort. I've enjoyed a few stays there, but not crazy about the purple and yellow room refurb - maybe the rooms look better in person. That great news that they are having good luck with walk-ins, but not good with food is too bad.

We did the Cape May breakfast a couple of times and really enjoyed it too!

Kathy, how is Cookie doing? Our Jackie was back in ICU for a couple of days last week and had a rough week, but she seems pretty good this morning. She is sooo thin though. Give Cookie kisses ands hugs from us.

What's this about getting censored? It's all about the journey to the actual trip and all the life events that come along the way.

When I talked to her yesterday morning it was 11 a.m. at the World and 93 degrees already; they were hanging at the pool.

It ticked me off, but I'm at the point of "whatever."

Hi, Rosie. As I said to Christine, Cookie is doing well so far. The sun is trying to come out here, but there's a 60% chance of rain. I'm about to go out and cut the lawn out in front (Andy is coaching and Mark is umpping); then we are going out to dinner with our good friends Shelly and Tom as today is Mark's and my 28th wedding anniversary.

Mark is umpping and I just finished cutting the grass. I talked to Nicki and Todd yesterday via text who are at Disney. We were saying how much we wish we were with them (one of these days we are gong to Disney together!).

Anyway, the doorbell just rang and we got this beautiful delivery:

If NOT for the DIS, we would have never met these wonderful people. They have become our best friends in a very short time and, as I've said in the past, Nicki is the sister I never had. We love you guys, we thank you for your thoughtfulness and hope you are having a wonderful time at Disney.
