Well I think that is so dumb...what else are you going to talk about a year before your trip? There are tons of PTR that are in violation of this rule....are they gonna shut them all down?

Hey wait, why not make a rule for PTR then...no posting a PTR unless you are a month away from your trip. That would cut the chatter. They should also carry this over to the PDR boards, no pre-dining reports 8 months before your trip.

Agreed Nicki, do you know how many PTR's I see that are SOOOOO off topic??? Some people treat PTR's like their personal blog, and they're still going! I'm not trying to start trouble or anything, I'm just a little confused, that's all!

I have to say Kathy you are a girl after my own heart....before I order my meal, I check out what's on the dessert menu first....then I adjust what I order for dinner!

The dessert menu is an absolute first peek.

WOW! Quite the drama over here! I think there's a lot to talk about Disney and not; and we all seem to enjoy all of it.

And it's funny... ALL these big life events that we share about LEAD UP TO A TRIP, and are part of the trip- sometimes they are the REASON for going and celebrating!!! Helllooooo.... the "I'm Celebrating Buttons!!!"

As for the Plaza, it is now on the list. Now when, I am not sure but if nothing else, dessert will be had.

As far as the Plaza, I canceled our ADR there in December becuause I was finally able to get into CP (I think it was CP). I need to eat there! Do you need an ADR if you are just having dessert there?

Trouble is my middle name. See, I won't eat Disney buffets for dinner (except for Cape May Cafe).

As you know, we really enjoy The Plaza too. I haven't found a thing on the menu that I don't like. I thought my Mama was going to lick her pineapple sundae dish clean because it was so good.

I remember Mama really LOVING her dessert.

Wow, everyone loves the Plaza. I'll have to go there someday. It's always in the running, but never quite makes the final cut. I do think those Mickelodeons look very cute.

Kate, not only would you and hubby like it, but your boys would adore it.

I can hardly wait to see how they did without any ADRs. Knowing Todd's luck, they'll probably get into every restaurant they walk up to.

I know where they ate lunch and dinner today but my lips are sealed.

She didn't want to do a live report becasue she didn't want to pay for the internet every day and it is such a pain. And not knowing where they were going she thought it would be more fun to keep it a surprise.

Thanks for the Nicki fix! I'm with them...don't think I'd have moved to SSR, either. Why doesn't that place hold any appeal at all? And I cannot wait for the report, either..gonna be really interesting. I think they'll do just fine though. Something's telling me they'll still eat well.

I think they've stayed at SSR before; I'm not sure why they didn't want the upgrade.

What? That's ridiculous Kathy. Do you know how many PTR's (and TR's) that I've seen where real life events are shared? All of them! Where's the harm in that?? It makes for a more interesting report AND allows us all to get to know one another. I'm seriously confused over this. Next they'll be cracking down on the banter too.

Moving on...I hope Nicki and Todd are enjoying themselves at Disney too. Good morning, Molly. I'll keep you posted on the Nicki/Todd show. I am not going to reveal where they eat because she'll do her dining review when they get back. I will say that they had lunch at DTD yesterday and dinner at Epcot and she has me contemplating changing one of my meals.

She may not call me today because she'll be ticked at me...again. We sent Todd a delivery for his birthday which should arrive at the resort today.

Just go off the phone with Nicki (we talked for 15 minutes while Todd went to get them drinks...it's 93 and they are at the pool and it's only 11 a.m.). They are having a great time; they had a "walk in" at breakfast this morning that Nicki thought for sure they would not get. But we all know Todd.

Tonight I can tell you they are going to Fulton's for Todd's birthday dinner and I know he'll be having our Alaskan King Crab Claws.

I think I would have gone to Saratoga Springs. How come nobody likes that resort? It seems nice to me. Very peaceful and quiet and it's such a nice walk to Downtown Disney.

Actually, we will miss F&W by a day; we leave early the morning of the 29th to head to Marco Island where we spend time with a popular DISer for a week. I can't wait until we are at the AKL.

Nicki and Todd really like POFQ a lot. And we have visited Saratoga Springs; people complain about how big and spread out the CSR is, and Saratoga is bigger and more spread out.

Yes, she informed me she was a little "tipsy." I think she was avoiding me yellling at her though and was using that as an excuse.

Breakfast is very good there (our second favorite after Crystal Palace for characters); but you had EXCEPTIONAL company.
