SSR Wait list comes through!!

This ressie started at POR, then moved to POFQ, then to OKW and now we are at SSR!

We put our names on the wait list in early June for a July 18 arrival date in a studio, and exactly on the 30-day mark it became available!

We have read the negative posts as well as the All Ears review, but we still want to try SSR. The new rooms and the great pool are our deciding factors. Now I just hope the typical July thunderstorms don't keep us from that pool!

Now I am going to figure out what spa treatments I am going to treat myself too....

Yes, the wait list does come through in the pinch!

I had a great stay at SSR last month! The pool is great and so are the slides! The Spa is very nice. I had the Swedish massage, and pedicure.
Took my boys over to the pool last week when we were there, and they really enjoyed the pool.

The construction was not a problem, as the Congress Park area is completed as are the main common areas. I found the walk from the room to the main pool no further than the walk from the BCV's to SAB, except at SSR it is not a covered walk.

Look for us - we will be the couple at the pool every afternoon trying to keep our DS6 from drowning DD4. My DVC backpack is already sporting my lime green home depot mickey tags.

This is great! Another North-Eastern'er heading to FL in July! Our family & friends think we are nuts, but they just don't understand!

We are AM park people and PM pool people, so I will keep an eye out for that green tag. My DS3 loves the pictures of Donald at the kid's water play area - we will most likely be around there & the smaller slide while DS10 rides the bigger slide!
