SSR to the rescue!

What is one thing I love about SSR, availability! We just realized that we had enough Skymiles on Delta Airlines for free round trip tickets. They had to be used in January so we said, "why not"? I called Member Services this morning and was able to confirm a Studio at SSR for Martin Luther King weekend. That's availability on a Holiday weekend booked 3 weeks out!

I love that about SSR! I called the other day and booked it for July...but then called back and got BWV instead!

I do love SSR and know it'll always be there for me!

One of the reasons I bought SSR!!! Inventory may be open to cash etc. at that time frame but odds are good something will be available(would like to think they help actual SSR owners out as well)

I was originally waiting for BLT sales before I became a DVC member back in July 2007. During a Disney cruise, the incentives offered for SSR were too good to pass up. We bought in at $95 a point, received all points from the previous year and the current year, received 160 Developer Points which were valid to use anywhere, no closing costs, and no maintenance fees until 2008. We visit Disney 6 or 7 times a year so we stay at all the DVC resorts to add variety to each vacation. Because we stay at several different resorts anyway, our home resort was of no concern. Also, we always call during the first day of our 7 month window so we stay where we want to stay anyway. Our two current favorite DVC resorts are VWL and BLT. Since joining DVC in July 2007, we have done 3 add ons. All have been at SSR and we have no regrets. SSR has been perfect for us!

SSR is our home resort so this is good to hear. We're relatively new to DVC(just one trip home so far) so it's good to know there's accessability here.

We booked TODAY for MLK weekend but have to go Thur - Sun as Sun is completely booked

Was orginally looking Fri - Mon

but for short notice, I agree...we will TAKE it!

OKW is the same, always room. Being they are about twice size of the other resorts. OKW also has the largest units from the studios to the villas.

I hope it remains just as available after the pool upgrades.
