SSR - Standard One Bedroom, Where to Request

Hi.
We will be at SSR in a one bedroom, standard view next month.
We are two adults and plan nights at DTD and three park days.
One night dinner at Citricos at GF.
Golf is booked at SSR (LBV course). We will use Disney transportation.
Is there a particular building I would want to request that is better
for bus stops or walking/boat to DTD?

The Grandstand Section (Standard View) is the first stop for theme park buses and is close to the Carriage House.

The dock for the boat to DS is located by the Carriage House. There is also a walking path from that area which goes over to the West Side of DS.

Sorry, one more question. What is the building that is the farthest away? Are there only the two buildings?
What would I want if I cannot get Grandstand? Should I just put in a request for the Grandstand and if don't get it ask for
a different building at checkin or put in both requests? I know there is a building a little removed, what is the name of that building since
that is my least choice. Thanks so much!

You DO NOT want Carousel! It is far from most amenities and seems (to me) to be the worst location. I actually prefer Paddock as it is the 3rd stop of 5 so the bus ride is the same length going and coming back and generally I have not had problems getting a seat. The second feature pool is at Paddock with a small pool grille as well. It also has the kids splash area (similar to Poly/GF) so that is a hit with my little one. If you do request Paddock request near the pool (you will also be close to the bus stop then too). It isn't a bad walk to Disney springs from there and you can take the bridge to cut across the lake/pond to the springs area where carriage house and the other feature pool are located.

You can make this request via online check in. You don't need to call. I would request Grandstand and near pool, so even if you don't get Grandstand you are more likely to be in Paddock somewhere (Carousel doesn't have a pool.)
