Can anyone point me to the right place to find out what items on the Spa menu DVC members receive a discount on?

Thanks!

I must admit, I am surprised at these prices too. When we were on a Disney Cruise in December of 2002, the prices were not nearly this high and I thought those were high. I relize it is a completely different outfit - Steiner's vs. Niki Bryan - but come on. These are too expensive for the time factor involved.

I have two friends both of whom are certified massage therapists. One works out of a real swanky salon/spa where we live. Her prices are not nearly this high and she offers many of the same types of massage.

I know it is Disney and you might expect to pay more but this is ridiculus. We had massages last October at BWV. Okay - not a real spa setting but I don't think that justifies an extra $50 or more.

Last month I spoke to CMs at OKW & at the SSR Spa about services & prices. I was disappointed to learn that when the Spa opened at SSR, the prices went up at OKW I don't have the exact numbers in front of me, but I remember doing the math at the time & the prices at OKW went up 60% :(.

when we stopped by the SSR Spa, the CM gave me a brochure about the services along with the prices. I don't remember which services got a DVC discount, but there were a few.

I was reading another thread here about the Wyndham vs SSR & someone mentioned spa servies at the Wyndham. I wonder what their prices are.

On a related note, does anyone know if the discount would apply if a member is paying for the spa service, but not the one actually receiving the treatment? We've given my MIL a spa treatment at SSR as a gift for our trip in Oct, but I was curious if we'd be charged full price or receive the DVC discount (if it's even offered for the service).

Thanks!
