SSR 2 BR lockoff room vs 2 BR regular room

This will be our first time staying at SSR and will be staying in a 2 BR villa. There will be 9 of us and was hoping to get a regular 2 BR villa and not a lockoff unit because of the 2 queen beds in the second bedroom. Can we request a regular room or is it luck of the draw? Has anyone stayed in these? Is there much difference? Also is there an elevator we will have someone who can not walk up stairs. Thanks for any input. So exited to stay at this beautiful resort!

Did you book it for cash? or DVC point reservation. If DVC, you have to book what you want. Either a dedicated two bedroom which has the two queens, or the Lock-off two bedroom which combines a studio and one bedroom villa.

There are elevators in every building.

Differences. Beds which you know about. Studio has kitchenette, the dedicated second bedroom has larger closet instead. One outside door in dedicated, two outside doors in lock-off.

If you booked paying cash, usually the default is to the dedicated instead of the lock-off, but that is not a guarantee.

If your reservation says lockoff then you have lockoff, if it does not say lockoff, then you will get dedicated.

That would be the Boardwalk Villas that only have lock-offs.

It is a booking category at SSR so she would have to actually book a dedicated room for you if available. They are the same points so have her check the reservation. She can change it if available.

Did you buy all her points, if so, have them give you the sign in info. You do know that pending reservations will be canceled as part of a sale.

Sorry I did not clarify I rented the points. This will be the first time we rented points or stayed at a DVC property. How do the paper goods get replenished? Do they have extra availible upon request or do we need to go buy more when we run out?

2 bedroom villas have real plates,flatware,glasses for 8. As well as pots and pans in the full kitchen. There is a washer and dryer. If you get a lock off the studio portion has paper goods with plastic flatware. If the villa is rented as a 2 bedroom I don't think they replenish.

What do you mean by paper goods? TP & paper towels? If you are staying for 7 days or less you will get a trash & towel cleaning on day 4 and they will replinish the TP, & paper towels. If you are staying for more than 8 nights you will get trash & towel on day 4 and a full cleaning on day 8.(these might be reversed but you will get both). They replenish TP & paper towels during these visits. If you need more in between just call housekeeping. Some times they will replenish the coffee and detergent during these visits too.

You will only get 1 box of detergent and no dryer sheets.

For stays of seven or less nights, Trash & Towel Service is provided on day four, regardless of whether you're using Member-discounted cash, Vacation Points or a combination of both.

With Trash & Towel service, Housekeeping will:

•Empty trash and replace liners in trash bins.
•Provide fresh bathroom linens.
•Replace shampoo, facial soap and bath soap.
•Replenish facial tissues, paper towels and toilet paper.
•Replenish coffee, sugar, cream and sweeteners.
•Replenish dishwashing liquid, dishwashing detergent, sponges and laundry detergent as needed in one-, two- and three-bedroom Vacation Homes.

Full Cleaning Service
For stays of eight or more nights, Full Cleaning Service is provided on day four and Trash & Towel Service is provided on day eight. After that, the cycle begins again on day 12, regardless of whether you're using Member-discounted cash, Vacation Points or a combination of both.

With Full Cleaning service, Housekeeping will provide everything included with the Trash & Towel Service, plus:

•Change the bed linens.
•Vacuum and dust the Vacation Home.
•Clean the bathroom(s).
•Clean the kitchen/kitchenette and wash the dishes.

Pay As You Play
With Pay As You Play service, you'll be provided with the following amenities free of charge at the start of your stay. After that, you may purchase more for the following fees:

•Toiletries Package, $5.00 - 1 facial soap, 1 bath soap, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 shower gel
•Coffee Package, $3.00 - 1 package of coffee, 8 sugars, 8 creamers, 8 artificial sweeteners
•Towel Package, $6.00 - 4 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 4 washcloths, 1 bath mat
•Laundry Detergent (only in One-, Two-, and Three-bedroom Vacation Homes), $1.00 - 1 box

Additional Full Cleaning Rates:

•Studio/Inn Room - $30.00 per day requested
•One-Bedroom - $45.00 per day requested
