All caught up! Parker's Birthday week looks so great! You had such fun family times with him - good job, Mom and Dad! I loved the fort. We love jello cake for Easter around our house.

The countdown calendar turned out so great, and Parker looks really smart - he knows what's going on with it! Sadly, I can see that he doesn't look like your baby anymore - definitely a little boy now - but very handsome!

yep he loves to help, this morning he mixed up the eggs for his cheesy eggs.

i made it myself, i downloaded the disney font online, and then used a paint.net program to make it.

then printed it, i can print to stuff up to 42 inches wide and as long as i want.

he had a blast, but got a little bored at the end, it was alot of mickey heads to place.

we have made jello cupcakes once, but it took forever to poke the holes and pour those.

no he doesnt, candi loves that he is getting bigger but cries that he is growing up so much.

especially when he gets a hair cut, she says he looks really grown up.

well we joined because there is alof of ones that we want right now, so once we get them all we will cancel it, works out cheaper on the deal we got to get them now than in the store.

i see, i hope parker does that stuff for a while i love it, so hopefully he will enjoy it as well.

ahh i see, my sister has one of those, but we dont.

i did it all on the computer i downloaded the disney font for it...and printed it.

the font even had the mickey heads that i printed on there.

Chapter 17. Disney Trial Run Trip

2 weeks ago on the 1st, (i know just getting around to it now, ive been lazy)we did our disney trial run camping trip. to see how parker would sleep in the big boy bed in the camper.

Also candis parents just bought a trailer so we wanted to go out with them so they could check out the new trailer.

So here is the pictures of the trip and also the pictures of the accomodations for our disney trip.

Here is the vehicle that will be pulling us to FL

The one side of the trailer, with the main door.

the other side of the trailer with the second door into the back half, where me candi and parker will stay.

Here are the beds in the back that we will be sleeping in, me on the bottom left, candi on the top left, and parker gets the one with the railing in it...

he did really good sleeping in there, when we put him in there Friday night, he wanted candi to stay by his side till he got comfy, then he told her to lay in her bed, so she did and he was calm and liked it, we were happy because at home he is still in his crib, we have not moved himto his big boy bed yet...he moves around way to much and we know he would fall out.

when he got up, he wanted to lay with mommy in her bed.

here is our tv and that door is the outside door, u can also kinda make out the door for the bathroom in there next to the TV

this is standing in our bedroom looking to the main area of the camper.

and the kitchen area.

and the upstairs where my parents have there bathroom and shower, and there bed and area.

we played at the playground and took walks around the campground.

parker loved the slides, and of course made grandma go on the slide with him.

also a side note, he has never really called the grandparents anything till this weekend.

he now calls both grandmas nana

and both grandpas papa

they all love it and think it is so cute.

we also hung out at the nature center, which parker really like the animals and hte feeding area where you can watch them.

that was a raccon trying to climb up and steal food, he did notmake it

they also have a national lake shore there, on lake michigan and we went to the beach and played on the sand dunes for a while, made a slide on them and parker slide down it, we also ran down them which was fun.

water was cold mid 50s but he still wanted to go in to our feet with me.

sunday before we left, we got to go back to the nature center and help feed the animals.

parker did really good, he would wait till all the other kids took a turn grabbing the food then he would go up and grab his to put int he feeders.

his favorite was putting the food in the logs for the squirrells to eat.

so it was a good trip, good trial run on the bed, we have our lists of things for disney to bring and small things we need, planned where we would put all of our clothes when we get there, we have 2 clothes closets and candi can put her dresses up with my moms in there slidding closet.


so it was a good trial run we would say.

We won't be arriving until the 13th so no on the 12th. I know our path's cross a couple/few times, I just can't remember when right now. I'll PM you our itenerary. We also cross paths with Glen & family a few times too plus we also might run into each other at the AKL pool. We plan to do the pool pretty much every day during the hottest part of the day.

thanks, it was, and we were glad parker slept good in that bed, he slept all night long, i think i was up most of the night checking on him to make sure he was okay, now i know he will sleep good, so i will sleep good.

Ok, great! I just sent you a PM. We'd love to meet up with you guys too. I wonder if ours plus Glen's schedules cross anywhere that week? I'll have to go back and look at Glen's again too. It's just been crazy over here with end of school coming up. I haven't been able to look over everything the way I usually do when planning a trip. I also need to make my Garden Grocer order!!

We camped a lot when I was growing up and I noticed that you used some of words to describe this trailer that I wouldn't have used to describe our little Fan travel trailer. Phrases like:

If we had any "areas" they were just designated with a curtain!

These trailers have come a long way. Glad it was a good trial run. You're going to have a great time camping at Disney. Don't worry about Parker -- he'll be fine. Get him tired enough and he'll sleep great.

We would LOVE to see Yeehaa Bob!! But we can't spend that other weekend days worth of points. We are planning a trip for next year with those extra points. Anyway, back to Bob....we may trot over to POR to check him out this trip at some point. We've been wanting to see him since our May 2008 trip when we stayed there but kept missing him!
