Squirts, Shirts, and Flirts, The Legend Continues 2 weeks in FW(wrap up #2 new 11-17)

super cute pix!!! I can't believe you got like a private photo session!! :thumbsup2

What a great day at BB! I love all of the PP shots, esp the ones of Parker playing. You can so tell he was having the best time!

I love your "I'm Just Sayin" section! :lmao:

Poor Parker and his little toes...:guilty:

At least he got some Buzz Lightyear swim shoes out of it! :yay:
he had a blast in there, trying to get him to leave was another story, very hard to pull him away from there.

too bad I didnt come up with the Im just Sayin part before, or knew i was going to do it, i could have gotten some pictures of them.

yep he scored some sweet water shoes, he still loves them and wears them all the time.

I had wondered how you got sooo many candid photopass pictures at BB. That's great that you found a photographer willing to follow Parker around for a little bit.

You had me going for a second, that Parker went on Summit Plummet. :scared1:

Yep she was great, she said she is in there all day and hardly any asks her to take pictures of them...i guess people dont realize that they are there, or dont care.:confused3

i thought it was a good crop of the picture and putting that border on there would be good affect.
I love that there are photopass people in the water parks. They have photopass people at the end of Crush n Gusher in Typhoon Lagoon and they get the best candid shots. Plus you have a wristlet photopass card for the rest of the day! Stylish. ;)

Have you ever been to TL? I've never been to BB and just wondering how they compare.

Love the 'I'm just sayin' part of that update! :rotfl:
Yeah we got some pretty good ones there when we went there as well.

Yep I have been to both Water parks many times...i think we like BB better as a whole, or course you cant compete with TL wave pool, or crush en gusher, but over all, i like the slides at BB alot better, you should try it out next trip.

Parker looked like he was having a blast. I just have a question. How did the photographer get your pictures on the photo card?
for the water parks, they have cards that are half the size of the ones in hte park, and have a little wrist band that they give you to keep the card with you...then i just added that number from the card onto the photopass account when i got home.

great pictures of all you at the water park!!

Love your observations....so true!!!!

thanks, everyone thinks it, i just had to type it out.
wow...you had a great photopass person. She got awesome shots of Parker. Water is so blue in them. He is cute of course :goodvibes

aww..poor Parker feet. That reminds me I have to get news one for Trent. His our a tad small and he will need some for the pool.. Thanks for the reminder :goodvibes

they are there, people just dont seem to use them.:confused3

glad i could help you remmeber something on your check list.

now just dont forget to get them.

An "I'm just Sayin" photo shoot would have been great! :rotfl2:

Looks like you guys had an absoulte blast. Kudos to the photopass photographer, now that's magic.

Poor Parker's little feet. I'm sure Mommy kissed them.
that would have been good but i would worry that they would catch me taking pics of them especially if it was to make fun of them.

yep we kissed em up.
:love2:
I love BB, only was there once, but I really hope to get there again on my next trip! Great PP pictures. I thought I had read somewhere a while ago that they would no longer offer PP at the waterparks, but it seems that this wasn't correct informations. There appeared to have been plenty when you were there. :thumbsup2

nope we actually saw more PP people there than we ever have..it seemed like they were trying to hit more spots which was good, if people use them.

TL even had a bunch of them there as well.

Parker looks like he had a lot of fun at the water park! How cool that she took so many pictures of him for y'all! Love the "just saying" section! :lmao:
he had a blast, he loves playing in the water..he could stay in there all day. yes we were lucky, there was another day we were there, and the PP took a few but not near as many as her.

I think that is from a movie or something, but i cant remember it exactly i know i have seen it somewhere, that the actor keeps saying that phrase.

[Dan

The Blizzard Beach pictures were awesome. They didn't have a photopass person the last time we went either (in 2004) My boys were 5 and almost 3 and they loved the kiddie section. We stayed there mostly the whole day. I just stayed at the bottom of the slides and my husband would go to the top and make sure they got on and then I was there when they got off. They had a blast.

He burned the bottom of his feet, who would have thought. I wouldn't have gotten shoes for the kids either, but now I know.

you're I'm just saying's made me laugh out loud and my DD4 told me to stop because she couldn't hear the TV :lmao:
yeah that kiddie area is way more kid friendly than the one at TL theres seems pretty dangerous on alot of the kid slides and actitives they ahve there.

it wasnt that bad of temp we did not feel it at all, it could have been the rough bottoms of the ground on some stuff, but then all of his toes would have gotten red like that so it must have just been the little gentle baby toes that he has that got it.

thats funny, tell her I am sorry and will try and tone down the funny...but im warning you, its hard to stop this funny typing..especially when the people out there we encounter make it so easy.

:lmao:
What an awesome job the Photopass girl did!!! We did Typhoon Lagoon and only ran into one in the wave pool. She wasn't doing anything at all so we asked her to take our pic. She was not thrilled in the least bit. I hate that. It really takes the magic out of it all and sort of makes it hard to smile at her.

I was laughing out loud at your "I'm just sayin'" section. :rotfl2: We saw a lot of things that we really didn't want to see either!

Did Blizzard Beach have beach chairs to rent? We did that at TL this trip and it was SO NICE!! You get 2 layout chairs, 1 regular chair and a small table & umbrella for about $50. Well worth it!
yeah the one we had in the wave pool at TL wasnt that good either really grumpy.

there were some times you wish you would just have a camera handy.

they had little patios things that overlooked certain areas, you could rent for a fee...but there was plenty of chairs there that if you got to the water park early enough you could get sets anywhere you wanted.

super cute pix!!! I can't believe you got like a private photo session!! :thumbsup2

it was very cool, im glad I asked her, i was just hoping for a few where he was playing.

At the risk of being repetitive/monotonous/mimicking/parroting I'll just say Ditto to what everyone else has been saying about the TR update, PP pics, Parkers feet and the ole switcheroo with Parker and Summit Plummet! :thumbsup2

BTW, now I'm double jealous of Parker and his really cool addition to his footwear style!:cool2: Buzz Lightyear and Tow Mater!!! I will be a man on a mission on my trip in December for sure.:cool1:

Hey Dan!

Great photos! And your observations were hysterical. And so disturbingly true. :sad2:

too bad I didnt come up with the Im just Sayin part before, or knew i was going to do it, i could have gotten some pictures of them.
I have an idea.

For your next TR - you can title it: "I'm Just Sayin..." and it can be filled with all of your little thoughts and maybe a picture to go along with it.

I'm Just saying, you know!

I hate rude kids and hate parents who don't care about their rude kids more.
Ooh that margarita looks good.
The shower story is too funny.
Ok too much to say about the Olive Garden incident. :rotfl2:
The water park looks like fun, not sure if I could do Summit Plummet.
Be back soon for more. Great updates.

okay, some more chapters down!

loved the travel pics. i thought the pics in TN were great (especially since i grew up there) and so funny that you got peaches in georgia. i live here and i never get them! but i'm north of atlanta and most of the peach crop is south.

you're there, you're there!!!! :woohoo:

back to the camper to change and get for our evening travels, dinner was at WL but taking the boat there would be way to easy, what was our route, well here it is.

campground bus to outpost
bus from outpost to DTD
DTD water taxi POR
POR bus to Epcot
Epcot monorail to TTC
TTC to resort monorails
Resort monorails to Contemporary
Contemporary to Resort Boat lanch
Resort Boat lanch to WL

OMG....if you told me i had to do that i'd just look at you and shake my head, then get on a boat directly to WL! just goes to show you how different people are. i loathe disney transportation and avoid it at all costs, especially the buses.

we go inside, and see him there selling his pieces. we were going to keep walking but i learned my lesson last trip.

Lesson learned(last trip): if you see something you like, buy it, you might not see it again on that trip and will kick yourself for not buying it.

so i went up and talked to him, and found out that he was getting ready to leave and would not be back on property until july 4th weekend.

i found the other four parks and bought those and had him personalize them to our family, now we have a complete collection and plan on going after other things of his next trip, like water parks, and resorts and such.

very cool! :thumbsup2

if you have not seen the treehouse DVC now you have.
DSC01443.jpg

hoping to stay in one of these in 2013 for a big family trip! :wizard:

 thats great marv,
those shoes were everywhere, we even saw them at the gift shops in the hotels...but your best bet would be the water parks, not sure if they have your size though.:goodvibes

sometimes it just has to be written what everyone else is thinking.

thanks scott, you would have loved that margarita, it was really good and tasted even better because it was very hot that day.

yeah the olive garden story is better left untouched, :lmao:although the zipper being down has happened many more times since then, its just something i dont always check but need to.

summit plummit isnt as bad as people think it is alot of fun, and actually a pretty smooth ride compaired to some other straight down slides we have ridden. you should try it out, you might like it, and if anything it is over in like 3 seconds so not too long to worry about it.

i really dont mind the transportation that much, i think different forms they offer are pretty fun.

very cool! :thumbsup2

they do look really cool, i will prob never get to stay there, being they are DVC and im too cheap to pay the extra price for the rooms.

 thats great marv,
What, did I make a funny? :confused3

Great Update of the Waterpark !!! We are doing them next year for the first time in August!! If we didn't get there at 9 am would we find chairs anywhere and what do you do if NO chair ????????

Last year was the first time I saw first hand what The BRAZILIAN look meant !!! Kyle's comment said it all !!!"Mom her BUM is showing "!!!:lmao::lmao:Steph said " That's Disgusting!!!!:lmao:

funny just runs in our blood.

very true, or use them as people smackers to get out of your way when walking through the park at the end of your day.

well, within the first hour of opening you might still find some, but they might be more out of the way. We have never used a chair there, we always rent a locker, and then just come back for our towels and such during the day. If you really want a chair, then i suggest using the rental areas..they ahve areas that you can rent out that have chairs, towels, and i think some other things with it, but it is kinda pricey...but it would gurantee you a spot if you really wanted one and were worried about them all being gone.

yeah it is a little shocking when you first see it. there reaction was funny.

i remember one year we were at river country and there was a europian family that got done swimming and they all just started to take off there suits and change into there regular clothes right there next to us, my mom told a lifeguard, and he just said, "ohh it happens all the time, we have to tell a group at least once a day" :scared1: i was maybe about 10 at the time he ended up telling them they had to stop and go use the bathouse.

Good thing you weren't taking photos and doing TRs then!!! Might be a good way to spice up a TR and acquire a huge DIS readership. :rolleyes1 Might even rival glennbo!!! :scratchin

(note to self; probably won't work for a December trip. :( )

yep just keep promising nude europeans in the next chapter.
:rotfl:

yeah glenns TR is turning into a jordan TR miss one day and you are 5 pages behind.

slow down glenn, we cant keep up with you.

yeah in december, they would just change to fast, might be a blurry picture. but you could try.
:thumbsup2

Great water park day recap & loved Parker's photo shoot. :cool1:
Haven't been to a water park in years.......didn't have a clue you could bump in to characters at them. :goofy:

I feel like you did in your I'm just sayin' segment on most regular days....it amazes what some people wear out of the house so I can only imagine what things you could see at a waterpark. Last year at the beach we saw a 60 something man in a wait for it...............white speedo:scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1: Just think about it for a minute & image how bad that could be!
