Squirts, Shirts, and Flirts, The Legend Continues 2 weeks in FW(wrap up #2 new 11-17)

yeah you will be good,

it might not look very appetizing, but try the beef type rolled up sausage, it was very good.

it kinda seemed like it was shaved beef rolled and stuffed into a cassing, and in a very good brown type gravy.

i loved it and sorry i didnt try it till later on in the meal when i was getting full.

I think this is the beef rouladen - it is very thinly sliced beef on which you put finely chopped pickles, onions, bacon and mustard and then you roll it all up and braise it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rouladen It is a very typical German sunday lunch dish! :goodvibes

that would be cool to push a stroller while doing it, we have one of those big ones oyu can pull behind a bike, as well as push, so that would work out good for the kids. walk a little then ride some.

from what i understand the kids race is completely separate. the 5K and half-marathon are more for adults and then they have a very short race for the participants' kids where there are characteres and they get a medal.

Olive Garden will never be the same now

:thumbsup2

see i knew you would like it.

it will be a hard chapter to beat, but i have some more good stuff coming up...allthought that might be the funniest round of lessons learned.

sorry, i was asked the story and not telling the whole thing would have raised to many more questions so i thought might as well get it all out there (literally speaking)

I'm just thinking you are lucky you didn't spill some of that soup. OW!:lmao:

And that she appreciated the view instead of calling you a perv.

What a dedicated Daddy - running all over for popcorn for his little guy!

I've never been to the biergarten - that place looks huge! I don't think my kids would have eaten anything there....:sad2:

Ok, between the walking to the showers in the boxers story and the Olive Garden story, I have lots to make DH laugh when he gets home! :rotfl: Holy schmoly, Dan - you really didn't notice??!??
the macs and cheese was awesome, and the pork/chicken was realy good there, thats what parker ate.

i hope your husband got a good laugh out of my sotries.

nope had no clue or i would have tucked it closed.

Who knew Maelstrom was a Fastpass?

That actually looks really good.

That whole story made me tired! Good job on the dad duties though! And good job on navigating the crowds.

The late night show at the bus stop was cracking me up.

As to the OG story...Yikes! Sorry to hear you had windows on your laptop. That's always ebarrasing. Althought it may have been even worse if the waitress HAD told you that Ensign Hanes was reporting a hull breach on the lower decks.
i know after seeing the line im glad they did have one, but before this trip, i have never seen it more than 10 minutes long before.

the food was really good, and too bad candi doesnt like it our i would gladly go back again.

i love your anology of the situation, the recap you gave was great:rotfl2:
:lmao: Olive garden story
glad i could make you giggle today.
:upsidedow
Dan I'm beginning to think you're an exhibitionist and just don't know it.

well you know, flashing at OG and then walking around in skivvies. you know it feels good.
:rotfl:

Great update on WS!

I think on your Biergarten plate, the meat at 12 o'clock is pork roast, at 5 it looks like beef rouladen to me and at 9 it looks like the sauerbraten - there also is half a schnitzel between the beef rouladen and the sauerbraten. :goodvibes

Parker's interaction with Belle was so cute! I love it when the characters interact with the kids. :goodvibes

And your last lesson learned was soo funny!!! :lmao: I guess you never saw a bus on your way to the showers after that again?
thanks for the run down on the meal, but i dont think that the 5 oclock was that, i looked at your descrpition page below and it did have anything else but meat in it? at least that i could taste or see.:confused3

he did great with the face characters this trip, well except tink. for some reason he was scared to death of those girls.

nope no more buses in the skivvies but did see some this time wearing shorts.

that does look really good and pretty easy to make, i bet i could do that at home.
do you make it or have any secrets to making it.

that sounds like alot of fun having the characters there.

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Guess you didn't feel a breeze?! :rotfl2::rotfl2:
nope, like the saying goes if you feel the wind push it in.

Olive Garden will never be the same now
i did notice they had a few new slogans on the wall last trip.

we have enough breadsticks at our tables, we dont need to see yours.

and
only our breadsticks are allowed out to be seen.

I'm just thinking you are lucky you didn't spill some of that soup. OW!:lmao:

And that she appreciated the view instead of calling you a perv.

yeah, that would have been getting the hot soup there.

this is true, im hoping that if we had a guy server, he would have at least said bumbee tuna (from ace ventura)
Yeah, think I'm going to pass on the breadsticks in the future.........:lmao:

Oh, quit stroking his ego........ :sad2:
you know you will still have them and i know that you will think of that story and then laugh and then have to tell the people that you are eating with about it.
:rotfl:

no ego stroking going on here...just the facts man
:rolleyes1:laughing:

:upsidedow

That one is right up there with my Hoop Story. :rotfl2::rotfl2:
That is spot on funny!! Luckily she wasn't the same girl who rode Soarin' with you. :rotfl2:

Wow! That was quite an update. The inside of Biergarten is really pretty. Parker putting the spinning Buzz in his cup holder was so cute. I can't believe how far you had to go to get popcorn. The boxer/Olive Garden stories had me laughing. :rotfl:
