Squirts, Shirts, and Flirts, The Legend Continues 2 weeks in FW(wrap up #2 new 11-17)

So funny!:lmao:

Lucky for who???? :rolleyes1

(or is it whom?):confused3

Hmmmm... interesting perspective there, Marv. :rolleyes1

I'm pretty (as if you were really serious when you asked...) that whom is used only in the subjective case. In which case you were right in going with "who". Glenn?? Cynthia??

Good Morning !!It is toooo early for an English lesson!!!:rotfl2:My personal favorite is ANYWHO!!!!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

You're pretty? You got that much beauty sleep last night???:lmao: (just kidding Liesa) And BTW, I wasn't.......serious that is!

Rose, concerned about an English lesson??? There has to be some irony in there somewhere!

I rarely get any sleep anymore. And my 8 year still thinks I am. :rotfl2:

Pretty?

I MEANT serious, but pretty would apply too..... :rotfl2:

smart butt!

im glad you guys kept yourself entertained while i was out of town for the weekend.

im not going to touch any of that conversation, because i can hadly type the correct spelling of words, let alone know the meaning of said words.

unless of course you are using the word

thingamajiggy:)

Chapter 11. Welcoming Wedgies and observations

The day started out like most except we did not have to get up as early we woke at 7:30, and of course parker was giving us his butt side while trying to wake him up.

DSC01594.jpg

but after he found out that it was water park day and he got to swim all day he was up pretty fast.

We were out there door and waiting for the bus at about 8:15ish. dont we look awake for a day of swimming and relaxing.
DSC01600.jpg

we were in the park by 9:00
Photo0082.jpg

and everything was dropped off at the locker and me and my dad were up the ski lift and ready to go down the Summit Plummit by 9:20

They had something new that they did not have in the past years, or at least never had when we were there. They had 2 photopass people at the bottom of Summit Plummit, one had a giant 2 foot long lens on the camera, and got your face when you were going over the drop and the other got the wedgy face when you got off the drop.

Photo0094.jpg

we grabbed the rest of the group from the seating area, and went back in line for the ski lift, parker was 2 inches tall enough to ride, and he loved it, candi was very nervous for him since he had to ride on the outside so the bar was between his legs, but i sat in the middle and held him tight and held hte bar down so there was no way he could squirm out of there.

then we went onthe family tub ride which he loved, and had a ball he laughed the whole way down.

next was time for parkers play area.

he had a blast going down this tub ride.

and some of the smaller slides for him.
DSC01611.jpg

then we noticed that there was a photopass person in the kid area, just kind of walking around waiting to take pictures, well no one was asking her to take pictures of htere kids so i jumped on it...

i asked if she would mind taking a few of parker, and she said sure ill follow him around for a while and get him on different stuff.

first she got him on the straight slides.
Photo0099.jpg

then she went over to the tube slide with him,
Photo0105.jpg

then she followed him around to the big splash area and just let him play around and got action shots...some were not as actiony as others.
Photo0128.jpg

where she got a good one as he was folling off the alligator.
Photo0130.jpg

i saying he was celebrating and got very excited over his personal photo shoot.

then he started jumping around in the water and jumping high in the air and landing on his butt.
Photo0132.jpg

she even went above and beyond what she already was and even got down in the water, so she was almost laying down to get a shot of him jumping she was trying to get lower than him so she could get him above the camera, but he didnt want to jump when she was that low, so she sat up some and he kept going.
Photo0136.jpg

then he wanted to go over to summit plummit and try and sit up for a picture.
Photo0148.jpg

just kidding, it was the kids triple slides, and she took a few more there, i came down after him,

Photo0154.jpg

and got him good with a wall of water.

Photo0155.jpg

after i did that once, he loved it and made me come down after him each time to sray him with water, he would go down and say dada, and i would have to slide down and he would take the water head on in the face, and just laugh like crazy.

so we were very pleased with our photopass lady, she really did go above and beyond the call we just wanted 1 picture from her and she did well above that.

we were very happy to get so many good shots of parker playing in there.

lunch time came pretty quick and we headed to the lodge to get something to eat...normal CS stuff, burgers wraps and chili dogs around. on the way there candi and parker ran into goofy and a photopass person so they stopped for a few to hang out with him.
Photo0112.jpg

after lunch we went back on a few more slides, did the tobagon slides, lazy river, and more kids area as well.

now this chapter wouldnt be anything without a few lessons learned, or perhaps I should make this chapter about observations i witnessed.

So here we go....

this can also be a section called, "I'm Just sayin"

Observation #1. People should think about what that tattoo will look like in 10-15 years and parts of the body that will sag ("I'm Just sayin") (we saw a few that were not very appealing and maybe they used to be)

Observation #2. Some brazilian thongs should stay in brazil "I'm Just sayin"

Observation #3. Some people are not meant to wear certain suites, but seeing what we saw, maybe I could pull of that speedo look.
"I'm Just sayin"

Observation #4. If it has been 10 years since you last wore your bathing suite and you are going on a trip that requires a bathing suite, maybe try it on before you go to see if A. it is still in style or B. if it actually fits like it did 15 years ago.
"I'm Just sayin"

when we were on our way out, parker was saying his feet were hurting this was the first time all day he said something, and we were immediatly kicking ourselves...

he showed us his feet, and he had 3 little red marks on his toes from the hot ground were they were burnt from walking...we felt so bad for him and mad at us that we went to get him some shoes for the rest of the trip, papa wouldnt let us get them, he felt even worse that he didnt think about getting him some water shoes, so he bought him some buzz light year ones at the gift shop for the rest of water days there, and playing at the pool.

coming up next we get ready for ohana time.

Good thing you put that placeholder in for the next chapter. I was just about to ask when we could expect an update! popcorn::

I have no idea on "who vs. whom". I try to avoid that one.

Give me a "then vs. than" or a "there, their, they're" and I'm all over it.

bumping myself around so next update wont be at bottom of page.

1 more to go then its update typing time.

Lookit you and your mad posting skillz.

yep i knew if i didnt hold that spot open for the chpater, someone would jump on it.

What a great day at BB! I love all of the PP shots, esp the ones of Parker playing. You can so tell he was having the best time!

I love your "I'm Just Sayin" section! :lmao:

Poor Parker and his little toes...:guilty:

At least he got some Buzz Lightyear swim shoes out of it! :yay:

I had wondered how you got sooo many candid photopass pictures at BB. That's great that you found a photographer willing to follow Parker around for a little bit.

You had me going for a second, that Parker went on Summit Plummet. :scared1:

I love that there are photopass people in the water parks. They have photopass people at the end of Crush n Gusher in Typhoon Lagoon and they get the best candid shots. Plus you have a wristlet photopass card for the rest of the day! Stylish. ;)

Have you ever been to TL? I've never been to BB and just wondering how they compare.

Love the 'I'm just sayin' part of that update! :rotfl:

Parker looked like he was having a blast. I just have a question. How did the photographer get your pictures on the photo card?

wow...you had a great photopass person. She got awesome shots of Parker. Water is so blue in them. He is cute of course :goodvibes

aww..poor Parker feet. That reminds me I have to get news one for Trent. His our a tad small and he will need some for the pool.. Thanks for the reminder :goodvibes

An "I'm just Sayin" photo shoot would have been great! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Looks like you guys had an absoulte blast. Kudos to the photopass photographer, now that's magic.

Poor Parker's little feet. I'm sure Mommy kissed them.

I love BB, only was there once, but I really hope to get there again on my next trip! Great PP pictures. I thought I had read somewhere a while ago that they would no longer offer PP at the waterparks, but it seems that this wasn't correct informations. There appeared to have been plenty when you were there. :thumbsup2

Parker looks like he had a lot of fun at the water park! How cool that she took so many pictures of him for y'all! Love the "just saying" section! :lmao:

[Dan

The Blizzard Beach pictures were awesome. They didn't have a photopass person the last time we went either (in 2004) My boys were 5 and almost 3 and they loved the kiddie section. We stayed there mostly the whole day. I just stayed at the bottom of the slides and my husband would go to the top and make sure they got on and then I was there when they got off. They had a blast.

He burned the bottom of his feet, who would have thought. I wouldn't have gotten shoes for the kids either, but now I know.

you're I'm just saying's made me laugh out loud and my DD4 told me to stop because she couldn't hear the TV :lmao:

What an awesome job the Photopass girl did!!! We did Typhoon Lagoon and only ran into one in the wave pool. She wasn't doing anything at all so we asked her to take our pic. She was not thrilled in the least bit. I hate that. It really takes the magic out of it all and sort of makes it hard to smile at her.

I was laughing out loud at your "I'm just sayin'" section. :rotfl2: We saw a lot of things that we really didn't want to see either!

Did Blizzard Beach have beach chairs to rent? We did that at TL this trip and it was SO NICE!! You get 2 layout chairs, 1 regular chair and a small table & umbrella for about $50. Well worth it!
