Parker was wonderful with the Princesses! We never did introduce our son to the Princesses. His sister was always afraid of the characters so we did not take time for any character meets. I think he was okay with it; more time for rides! When he was 12, he had a great character experience when the fox walked up to us one night and got Alex to ride the magic carpets with him. They fought over the controls and teased each other for the entire flight!

SO cute! Reminds me of Evan at that age with the characters. We were in DL and there wasn't photopass but they are my favorite pictures still, so cute how into it Parker is and the princesses were wonderful with him

OMG I can't remember where we stayed on Maui, it was almost 15 years ago
We mostly stayed by our hotel. It was connected by several resorts so we walked a lot on sort of a boardwalk, sat at the beach. We also went to a volcano. I cannot remember the name of that one either but it translated to red volcano. Sorry I'm not much of help. I don't have pictures on my computer to show you either. These are pictures in my photobucket account of our honeymoon.

he is tough to get mad at, especially when you are trying to scold him and he starts doing something funny...and he knows it, and will keep going because he can tell you are holding back your smile.
he i wont worry about, its the little girl, im going to keep extra attention on, and have to answer the door with the shot gunOh, those pics are so priceless! Parker sure is a ladie's man. You are going to have to keep on eye on him!
he took a liking to them that is for sure.
i think a few of those will be in a graduation video.

thats okay, just thought i would ask, the volcano is haleakala crater, i think that is spelled somewhat correct.
relaxing at the resort is a great day...and what you are suppose to do when there.

Chapter 46. The saga of the missing glenn (what if...there was a tree of life)
is everyone ready for the saga of the missing glenn....
im typing this from notes not from the texts as my phone doesnt store them that long, so glenn might have a different story but this is my TR not his, so we will go with mine being correct.
so we were on our way out of the barnstormer, and got a text from glenn that he was arriving at the park, nothing like making rope drop.
so anyway i said okay great we are headed to buzz, and since you are going to space mountain (or maybe he went to get fast passes for splash first)we can meet you on the way over...well no glennbo in sight, he texts me and says he is on space mountain already. so we get on buzz
parker had control of grandpas zurg blaster.
i was focused on this ride, as you can see from my ride photo redneck photo.
but it wasnt enough to get candis score..i am going with i was watching parker to make sure he was having fun.
we also got fast passes for another ride. before we rode.
we text with glenn again when we are getting off and guess what
we miss him again when we get off, so we head to monsters inc.
we text when we are done and we miss him again, so my parents head off to the other side of the park.
candi and parker hit up the TTA while we texted him again. but of course as the theme goes we missed him again.
heading off on TTA while i wait on glenn to see if i can catch them..i also got another round of fast passes for buzz since they were spitting them out only 20 minutes ahead of the time that you could return.
here is big boy sitting across from mommy all by himself on the TTA
turns out his phone is screwey and he is getting text messages well after they are being sent.
so i hope on the TTA with candi and parker for another round since parker loved it and thought it was a train ride.
so when we finally got a hold of glenn, he said he was on the other side of the park at the mountains, so we told him that we were coming that way to meet my parents and for him to stay at country bear jamboree and we would meet them there.
would we ever get to meet glenn? would he be waiting at the jamboree for us?
would he get to meet parker?
or would his phone be screwy again and he disaapear?

so we last left off on the What If episode when we had (I had) finished off a few bright and early beverages, and we saw the sunset...well lets go explore this resort.
what would a typical hallway segment look like, could you have a dance party in there? well it sure was wide enough for one.
we hopped up to the 12th floor to get some view pictures.
now im thinking that if Pop century was really far away from the new animation hotel, that this is what it might look like off in the distance.
a nice view of the tropical flowers, with the background defocuse mode turned on.
this is where we compare staff...how would the staff rate with the CM staff?
well i have to say they did great, wonderful service very friendly and almost seemed like they were much better with the guests and very friendly, i didnt run into anyone that was having a bad day, or didnt want to stop and talk or help you out.
this was our friend wayne,
he ran the slide, he was very friendly and talked to every kid every time they came up to the top, and remembered all of there name after hearing them one time.
he had a fish toy that he would sound when the slide was clear for you to take your turn.
how would lobby entertainment hold up to disney.
well we have live birds that were brought in every day and would talk to people as they went by.
now i dont know how but every time a girl went by they would whistle at them, it was hilarious, guys nope wouldnt do it, unless there was a girl with them.
that afternoon after lunch we ventured off a little north to a quite beach
we played for a while and enjoyed running around looking for shells and making sand castles.
dinner time rolls around and we are heading to meet the inlaws in lahaina well if you have ever heard of a banan tree, this is it.
this thing is huge, stretches a whole city block.
that picture doesnt really do it justice, so i switch to panaramic mode...
now i think that if disney had a tree of life here this is what it might look like, although this was actually a real tree, and not a man made one.
so here is more of the tree from the center out...i still didnt get all of it, as it very very wide.
but at least you can get an idea as to how large it is...the tree grows up, then has shoots that come down and go into the ground for another "trunk" and keeps going and going
next time on what if.....how do sunsets compare?
