Spring Room Discounts? Yes, this is early

This past spring there was a discount for rooms that could be used the week before and the week after Easter. Does anyone remember when it was released? I'm taking my daughter on college tours in Florida, SC, & NC during her spring break next year. I thought it would be fun to do a one night resort stay and let her lounge by the pool & eat at one her favorite resort restaurants as we work our way through Florida. I tend to book things way in advance, but was wondering when I should start looking out for the spring discounts.

Any word/speculations/updates on spring discounts? According to the Mousesavers post they were released 10/1 last year. Hoping it's soon!!

Yes, and for Jan- early Feb they were disappointing to me. Only good Sun-Thursday. Was looking for Boardwalk where my daughter is staying (she gets TA rate). AP rate only brought $750 down to $617 because 2 of our nights are weekend. Regular discount is less. After 2/22, the discounts apply all nights, so are better. Unfortunately we are locked into dates.

Disney currently is offering a $100 gift card if you purchase an annual pass. I’m contemplating buying one for the discount. We are thinking of going 01/28-02/3. Can someone with an annual pass tell me what the AP hotel discount looks like for those dates? Interested in either Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge or AKL.
