Hi!
We are planning our trip to WDW for the week of March 31 - April 6, 2008. Now we are wondering when most of the school, university/college spring breaks are this year?
Our DS (4th grade) is on spring break this week. We are heading down to WDW and I fugure it will be major crowded - but hopefully not as bad as the week after Easter.. plus I have my fingers crossed for good weather!
Spring break in Manitoba is same as yours. However, from what I have been able to glean from DIS and other boards, is that most spring breaks occur the week of Easter or later in April.
I was at WDW last year during the same time and it wasn't too bad at all (there were lines, but nothing like I was expecting). Plan accordingly, and you'll be okay!
Ours (NW Indiana) is always the last week of March. Unfortunately, this year it coincides with Easter, making flights out of Chicago VERY expensive. Their spring breaks change according to the holiday. Our decision (made last week) to go for our spring break has us flying out of Indianapolis--less convenient, but a lot cheaper.
Ours here in NW Ohio is March 21-28. We will be at WDW March 20-27 (I feel an illness coming on March 20--one that will save me $400 in airfare!)
We rarely have the same week off as I work in one school system and live in another. We have never done more than a day trip. So hope this one works out!

Hi!

I think colleges/schools tend to start spring break around the last week of Feb, through the second week of April. Differnet shcools have diffferent schedules. If you are going around eAster be prepared for it to be packed. It is usually one of the busiest weeks of the year. We went early March last year (Easter was in April) and it was still pretty busy. We rode most rides at the MK during the EMH one night and after the fireworks another. Otherwise it was pretty long lines most of the day.
