Spring Break 2011 on the DREAM

Getting the suit cases down tonight and doing inventory on clothing.

My question for everyone..what are you all wearing for dinner (minus the semi-formal/formal night)?

I am so behind on getting ready for this vacation. We've been so busy with traveling for the kids dance performances, that I have completely blocked out all else. I need to get cracking on this and look thru the FE stuff that I have and see what else I need. Plus, figure out how many clothing items the kids have managed to already outgrow since I bought them.

Looks great, Pixie. I am still waiting on mine from "Gradysmommy" on eBay. I am creative but I have absolutely no sewing skills.

We are very close to having all of our FE gifts made - I should get them done by tomorrow night. Now I just have to bag them up and get them sorted by deck. Just over 2 weeks until we leave - I can't wait!

For dinner, I will probably be wearing casual dresses, or skirts, mabye some capris some nights. Disney is pretty casual, so as long as you don't schlep in wearing tshirts and jean shorts you should be fine.

I have all of my FE gifts organized by decks, so they should be pretty easy to hand out. When is everyone planning on delivering? Things could get pretty jammed up if we all try to deliver at once!! I was wanting to deliver the first day, but will play it by ear once we get on board!! Looking forward to meeting everyone, do we have a time and place to say hi to each other?

I can't wait for our vacation!! We are leaving the 24th and driving down and staying at Animal Kingdom Villas before the cruise. I am soooo tired of the cold weather!!

I am on a two week break from grad school so working like crazy on our FE gifts.

From the recent Navigator's I've looked at, each night is cruise casual. There is no semi-formal or formal. I will have 1 or 2 skirts with several blouses that can be mixed and matched. DS will have khakis and polo type shirts.

Hi Dawn (Basketrn) - We'll be coming in on the 24th as well and staying at AKL Jambo House. Look for us!

As for delivery of our FE, I'd love for it to be Nassau day as well. That seems to be a popular day.

Just over 2 weeks and definitely counting! Have a big presentation to one of my company VPs and I will be so glad when it is over- ugh!

Hi Gang! For our Dis Meet/ Celebration for our 40th B-days, how about we meet up at Currents on Deck 13 at 3PM on Wednesday, our At Sea Day? This leaves time for a nice visit after a day in the sun, it's a family area so that if you need to bring your kids it's ok, if you are a smoker you can go to Deck 12 in no time and not be gone for to long, and if you have early seating you can go but you still have the chance to meet everone?

We will supply green beads for the adults to wear so we can figure out whose who!

Well, here are my worst fears. i was in a car accident in December and got pretty banged up. I was sent to a Doctor in Duluth yesterday and he is /strongly encouraging me to have wound surgery next week! It means an overnight in hospital 5-7 days in a tight splint and then who knows!! I am so upset there is a possibility i might lose going on the cruise. The family will go but I may be left behind! We can't cancel because I was too cheap to get the insurance and also we are in two concierge rooms!!!

IF, (God willing) I DO get there - I am the Grandma on a motorized scooter! (temporary I hope). Say hi if you see me, if not, please say a prayer. I am just heartsick over this. Our trip includes Vero Beach, cruise and 3 days at the AKL. All paid for and a big treat for our children and grands. I just pray i will make it and all is well.

OMGoodness I'm sorry to hear that! We will keep you in our prayers and hope to be celebrating with you in a couple of weeks! Stay strong and POSITIVE! I have heard that positive thinking can work wonders with healing. You are a trooper and you have been through so much already so I'm sure you are feeling down so easier said than done. We're pulling for you and hope to see you soon!

Hi All ~ I just wanted to clarify, this DIS MEET would be for ALL of us, not just those with birthdays! I put that in as a title because we had posted some threads on it earlier
