Let us know what your recruiter says. I sure hope it all works out. I am sure this happens all the time. Everyone at Disney seems very nice and helpful so maybe it won't be a problem. Good luck!

I hope so. Thanks for the support

Oh no! I just read what happened! But don't worry, I am sure that they should be able to help you, and hopefully you will not have to wait very long to find out. Plus, there is a good chance you could still get a role you wanted, because I've heard that people who audition and don't pass can still get one of their top roles. I'm sure you will have good news in a day or two, and hopefully this will work out easily.

Thanks for the reassurance. I just kind of freaked out

I got a pending notice about two weeks ago. It was because I had a restricted rehire status. Well once I submitteed the paperwork I literally got a response in a week. So i am sure once you call them and explain the situation you will hear back soon. it wont be another six weeks lol

Thanks. I'm so glad that I won't have to wait that long. I don't think I could take it:scared:

I am getting excited for the presentation and it's not for almost a week. I still have to finish going though the role checklist but I just set up my new iPod touch to fetch my gmail account (which I only use for a few things, I have quite a few other addresses that all fetch on my computer) so that when I get into the process I can obsessively check my email all day in class using the wifi. Then it's going to be even more annoying that my iPod can't get any signal in one of my classrooms... which I have TWO of my four classes in! argh!
and i've been pumping disney music through it for a few days and I only got it monday

How do you know if you have a restricted rehire status? I worried about my rehire status...but my interviewer didn't say anything to me when she brought up my information? I hope that's not the case...I wouldn't know how to go about finding the right stuff for that.

What do we do if we want to take classes while we're there? There was no mention of it in the interview. I believe we sign up for them when we arrive...but is there anything you have to do before?

I believe they'll tell you in the interview if you're restricted or not.

I think my recruiter is out of the office so I probably won't hear anything till monday! I left her a voicemail briefly explaining what happened and an apology. I hope she doesn't think i'm TOO dumb :scared: Hopefully, this will get resolved quickly and painlessly. I really just want to get in!

Shastatikipunch - Have you heard anything yet? Your six week mark is coming up isn't it?

I've been in close contact with my recruiter, I'm actually about to hit seven weeks if it's not here by Monday. But basically I emailed her the 22nd explaining that I had not seen anything, on the 23rd she got back to me and said a decision had been made and it should arrive soon, a week went by there was still nothing so I emailed her again and confirmed my address she once again told me to contact her if it wasn't there within a week. Monday (this week) comes and nothing arrives, so I emailed her again explaining that I believe it was lost in the mail, she got back to me in five minutes and said she had another shipped out. I'm beginning to think the postal service is the reason behind this extreme delay but I'm hoping to hear soon, two months is a really long time.

Gahh that's terrible! I'm sorry you've had to wait so long. There had to have been something wrong with the postal service

Yah they told me during my interview that I had a restricted rehire status. She asked if I had left the company in good standing and I was like I think so and then she checked and was like nope you have a restriction. That proceeded to weeks of emails and then finally getting the rehire paperwork. When all was said and done I did get accepted but it was a longer process than ancipated. I wouldnt worry if they didnt say anything to you. Also you sign up for classes when you get there or atleast that was how it was last time.

Yay I just got my acceptance letter. Spring - Attractions. Now I just have to wait for my friend to hear from them to sign up for a date.

I just had my interview. I thought it went okay, I was kinda nervous so I don't think I answered everything as thoroughly or as well as a could have but it was pretty good. My interviewer was extremely nice.

:rotfl: I have an iPhone, and I did the SAME thing. Well, not during the application process, since you really don't get any email from them besides from your recruiter and telling you they got your faxed application. But I was waiting for an email back from the main recruiting email address AND my recruiter at the same time, and checked OBESSIVELY all day on my phone.

Of course, I finally got the emails I was waiting for when I was sitting in my room on my computer, not obsessively checking my email.

I just talked to the recruiting office; they said that it shouldn't be a problem to change my application so that it doesn't include character performer. Then it will lift the pending application and I should hear something. Unfortunately, I don't think my recruiter is in today :( Do the recruiters work on saturdays?

I think a lot of the recruiters are out of the office today because I know that mine is and a friend of mine's recruiter is also out of the office. They don't work on weekends so you'll be in the same boat as me--waiting till Monday, which seems like FOREVER! Hopefully you'll be able to get things straightened out though, it doesn't seem like it should be too much trouble. I know a girl on facebook had put down character performer and then decided that she didn't want to have to go through the waiting process so she called her recruiter and asked if it could be removed and they said that it was no problem. She actually just got her acceptance letter today, so i'm sure all will be ok with your situation. :)

Congrats! I didn't know that they could change the session you applied for...does that mean they've run out of spots?

You can request a season, but there is no guarantee you will get it. There is a certain amount of space per season for each role.

I had a friend who auditioned for Fall 08. She wanted FA, but there wasn't any more room for her height. So she got Fall.

That makes me nervous that they're all full :scared: Great. By the time I get this all figured out everything will be taken :sad1:

I wish my recruiter would answer her phone!
