Bad news everyone. I just got a letter in the mail saying that my application was pending. I don't know why. Maybe I didn't pick enough roles? I won't know anything until Dec. 1st. I don't know what I did wrong.

That happened to a friend of mine last year...she was really upset over it. She talked to her recruiter and evidently it turned out to be because she tried to log in to accept before she got her letter? It caused delays in the process apparently. She got in though.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! I'd die if I was in your situation. I don't think contacting your recruiter would be a bad idea either. I mean the worst that could happen is you'll know just as much as you know now.

Gaaah okay. I'm sorry. I'm kind of freaking out right now. What I meant to say is that character PERFORMER was checked. I dont know why. I really don't remember checking that. And it wasn't discussed in my interview. So I have to call tomorrow and get this worked. This is going to take forever. I'll have to resend my stuff back in. And it's all my fault...

You may not need to. Just explain you marked performer by mistake. I'm sure they will be understanding.

Now they're going to have to review my application and I probably won't get the roles I checked. That's okay, as long as I get in. I just hate having to re-wait again!

Let us know what your recruiter says. I sure hope it all works out. I am sure this happens all the time. Everyone at Disney seems very nice and helpful so maybe it won't be a problem. Good luck!

Oh no! I just read what happened! But don't worry, I am sure that they should be able to help you, and hopefully you will not have to wait very long to find out. Plus, there is a good chance you could still get a role you wanted, because I've heard that people who audition and don't pass can still get one of their top roles. I'm sure you will have good news in a day or two, and hopefully this will work out easily.

I got a pending notice about two weeks ago. It was because I had a restricted rehire status. Well once I submitteed the paperwork I literally got a response in a week. So i am sure once you call them and explain the situation you will hear back soon. it wont be another six weeks lol
