It was accidental. But I wasn't very happy about it (she kept locking the door so I would have to pound on the door to get her to open it).

That does suck, it's your room too. :rolleyes2

In your experience, do most people keep their bedrooms locked? I just feel that is a little strange to close yourself off from your roommates like that. I guess everyone needs some alone time every now and then, right?

I don't think it's normal, as that was the first time it happened to me in 4 CPs. I understand shutting the door. But it became such a pain when she would lock it.

Yeah ,i would have thrown a fit :-\

Idk why someone would need the door locked though? i think all personal business can be done in the bathroom, especially if you're sharing a room with someone you're not related to.

ahhh i was just wondering about leaving my computer and such out.... like if other roommates have friends i dont know over and i am not home nor is my roomie. you know safety. I wouldn't lock my roommate out lol

I had my interview last night. The lady who conducted it was really nice. She must've asked a thousand questions lol. But I was more than happy to answer all of them. So she said I'll know for sure whether I'm accepted in about 3-4 weeks!!!

Not to jinx yourself but how did you think it went? Were you happy with how it went? What did you pick as your top 3?

I think it went really well, actually. I thought alot about what possibly could've been asked (and was right on several questions) so I prepared some answers ahead of time. And when they said they'd call at 8PM CST, they called at straight up 8!!!!! My cell phone just switched to 8PM when the call came through. How reliable!!! I thought the way the lady who interviewed me conducted it was very smooth and professional. Not stiff and cold, either; she was really friendly and helpful. So I was extremely pleased with my interview. My top three were FSFB, Attractions, and Merchandising.:)

That is great! My interviewer called 15 minutes early which freaked me out at first but it didn't hurt my interview so... If you get merchandise you will be in my area!!! Which program are you applying for? Spring or Spring Advantage?

You can call me Anna :) If you checked performer than you won't hear anything, except the audition pending letter, until you audition. I don't know how it works if you don't audition - i'm assuming they just put you somewhere else. I'm hoping that it will be a quick fix but me recruiter isn't answering her phone! :scared1: I applied for the WDW program. Where did you apply?

If I don't get in then i'm going to apply for a job at Disneyland. They had an opening I was interested in...

Shoot! Then I'm gonna have to call my recruiter tomorrow and fix it like you too. Darn. I applied at the DLR program (its closer to home, and I've never been to WDW, so I wouldn't be familiar with it at all). Good luck. I really hope this is an easy fix. I wasn't really planning on auditioning either, so I hope that its an easy fix too.

Looks like we're in the same boat

I tried to call my recruiter today and it went right to her voicemail again :confused3

well, i have been lurking here for a couple of days now, and been reading. I just got done with my interview a minute ago. I think I did okay...

My interview was at 1:45pm and they called at 1:39pm.. My interviewer was christine and she was very nice and pleasant :)... She was telling me about how it's raining there now and the phones might go out. She was really quick with all of the stuff asking about the basic stuff on the application and what program I wanted (spring advantage, or spring), She first asked me "That why I think this is a good point, to do this program?", then "How will I cope with living on my own with out my parents, and such?", and "How i will cope with the balance of living, work, education and everything?"... After answering those questions, We got to the roles My top choices were Merchandising, Attractions, and Hospitality... I got the space mountain question, the if an item was out of stock question, and if a room if the guest requested wasn't available question(I was a little more nervous on this one)... and then if I had any questions... then she told me how to fax in stuff and wait for an email of where i should send in my application... then she said after that it will be a 4-6 week wait.... and the whole process was about 20 minutes...

i am happy it's over with... when the phone rang i jumped like 2 feet in the air... I was so nervous haha

haha. I guess we'll just have to see how it plays out. I'm trying to get a hold of my recruiter right now. So if I get anymore info on the situation, i'll let you know. :thumbsup2

Thanks, and likewise. It's strange that I can't get a hold of her. It just keeps going to voicemail so her phone isn't even on :scared:

When I tried calling a few weeks ago my recruiter said that she had meetings all afternoons most days. So maybe it will work better if you try calling earlier in the morning (8:30 or 9ish)?

I'm in California so they're three hours ahead of me. I don't want to get up at give to call. I emailed her thursday and left a message last friday so regardless she should be able to get back to me

Who is your recruiter? If it's Rebecca she's out of the country now.

It's Jessica

Sounds like it went good! Good Luck! At least they are telling you it will be 4 to 6 rather than the 2 or 3 they mention on the website. I must say the 6 week wait is horrible but think of it this way... when you get your acceptance (knock on wood) it will be a nice holiday "gift".
