spontaneous day at mk...no fp

We are going to be in tampa in march and might go to mk for one day (we have a 10 pack for this very reason...so we can do day trips while visiting fam in tampa)

We have no idea what day we would go and would base mostly on weather. What type of fp could be added if we mosey in around 10am.

We are more interested in tamer things since we have little ones and one on the way.

Could we still get things like jungle cruise, mickey meet and greet, pooh at that time of day.

By the way this is why we don't love fp. We are one of the few families that employ this style of spontaneous touring I suppose.

You'd likely be able to get those attractions, but I don't know how flexible your times would be. I'm not sure how your 10 pack tickets work - are they linked in an MDE account? If so, once you realize the night before that you'll be headed there the next day, you could at least go online that night and select 3 for a somewhat greater selection than at 10 in the park day-of.

Depends on the day you decide to go............March can be fickle because its spring break in some places. I just took a quick look at TouringPlans.com and their Crowd Calender for March and they pretty much have every day at 6,7, or 8 for the MK.........for what its worth. Some of the rides you have are family favorites and tend to have lines (not 7DMT or A&E type). In March its a crap shoot.

No one can tell you with any real certainty what's going to be available, but the MK is definitely the easiest park to get sdfp's for. I agree with Mikie, if you're tickets are linkable, why not just schedule a few in advance as soon as you can. You shouldn't have any trouble a day or so before getting those. Depending on the crowd levels, stand by lines for that type ride aren't that bad in the mornings so I don't know that I wouldn't do standby on rides with shorter lines, schedule my fp's for later in the day- if you can schedule in advance of course.

I assume that by "10 pack" you mean that you have 10 day, non-expiring tickets.

If that's the case, you can just make FP+ reservations for every day that you'll be in town. Just because you make them doesn't mean you'll have to use them. FP+ actually works really well for this sort of trip.

Thank you for the suggestion. Our tix are prob linkable...not sure. But dealing with the website is what we would prefer to avoid, and we honestly won't know if we are going until the day of or very late the night before...if it is an awesome sunny 85 degree day we will just do the waterpark. I was hoping the type of rides I want are just always available...but that doesn't seem to be the case. If we don't get fp we will do standby. We might just take the chance to do things like Tom sawyer island and the walk on like philharmagic. My craving for a dole float is driving desire for mk more than any rides lol
