Sponsorship conditions question

Just read on DLRP Magic that one of the conditions of receiving a free year for sponsoring three people is that "... all three must buy their Annual Passport within the same ticketing season — these run from April to November, and November to April."

I can't find that condition anywhere on the DLP(fr) site - if it's there could someone point me in the right direction. I'm really hoping it's not the case as I doubt I'll be able to sponsor a third person before May (when we next go).

conditions are avalaible at the Annual Passport Bureau (on the left before discoveryland's entrance and facing the castle's theatre.
And also on the sponsorship form.

though I wasn't able to find the conditions you refer to, I tend to trust DLRP Magic
and the "condition" seems logical ... follow my train of thought here :

the person you wish to sponsor must not have had an annual pass in the previous 2 years.
The annual pass is valid for 1 year.

So let's say you sponsor Mr A and Mrs B in 2011
And you sponsor Mr C in 2012
if you put them on your sponsorship form in 2012, chances are either Mr A or Mrs B's annual pass are no longer valid. And even if they renewed their own annual pass, they no longer are eligible to the program in 2012 because they would have had an annual pass the previous year (2011)

So even if it's not explicitely mentionned, the "no annual pass in the last two years" clause makes it impossible to span the sponsorship over a period greater than a year, or even a season.

You're not confusing at all and I fully understand the validity aspect. But the way it's laid out on DLRP Magic means if I sponsor two people in December (as I intend to), I can't sponsor the third person in May (which is well within the year's validity for the first two people). In fact if you take it to it's logical conclusion, if you were to sponsor someone in March, you wouldn't be able to sponsor your 2nd and 3rd person in May, which is less than three months apart!

Oh well, will find out soon enough!

I think that is correct and has always been the case.

We sponsored our son a few yrs ago and then sent the form to another Dis member to use it for 2 others however as it had crossed 'seasons' they were unable to use that form. The CM kindly gave them another and still gave the discount but threw the original form away so we only had 2 people on the new form. We never did get a 3rd person.

Its become even harder to sponsor people now as well as you cant send the form to them like we did - you have to actually be with them in the park.

I read that clause too, but I'm sure it also said somewhere that a season was something like april-september, and october to march.... not certain of specific 'season' dates, but it wasn't just 'chritmas season' or anything...I'm sure I read it on the DLRP Magic site as well.....
