Splitting multi-day Hoppers

So, most of the tickets for sale that I see on e-bay are a few days left on someone's multi-day park hopper. I know they're not MEANT to work that way, but I know they can, and I'm wondering how feasible that is. It seems like a good deal, (to be the buyer OR the seller) but has anyone done it? What's the best way to transfer the tickets? In-person meetings? Overnight shipping? (how much does THAT run?) Dropping them off or picking them up at a hotel? What's the deal, Dis friends? Just exploring our options, here!
