spliting on the meal plan

my family and I are rather thin but have opted for the meal plan simply because we feel that it is a good buy and we will get to experience restuarants that we other wise wouldn't. my question is are you allowed to split meals ( the app, entree and desser) maybe order 3 of each and split with the fourth person. would this only use up 3 ts instead of 4 and is it allowed???
