Spliting meals on dining plan?

I'm trying to decide if our family should go with the dining plan or not. I have had gastric bypass. For those who don't know ...my stomach is the size of an egg and my meal consist of very little. I couldn't even eat a kids meal. Yes I have a doctors note that my stomach is 2 ounces. So the plan is a waste for me, but not my family. So since I would have be on the dining package. I was wondering if I could eat off DH's plate. Then the rest of the family could use my food credits. Has anyone slpit meals on their food credits?

You can share with no problem at any non buffet/all-you-can-eat restaurants. But, even if you won't be able to eat much, you WILL have to pay for your own meal at the Character meals (CP, 1900 Park Fare, LTT, Chef Mickey's for example) as well as all buffets (Spoodles b'fast, Cape May , H&V for example)and all-you-can-eat ('Ohana and Akershus, for example) restaurants.

Thanks so much! I planned using my own credit for our character meals. After all I'm just there to watch my kids have with the characters. Can't put a price on the memories.

No prob! DD, DH, and I plan on sharing 2 meals at every non-buffet/character meal we made ARs for on our upcoming trip. We figure, even with our normal appetites, 2 appys, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts will be more than enough to fill us up.

I read somewhere where a couple both had bypass surgery done - they were allowed to order kids meals instead of adults - you of course have to show proof from your doctor - you may want to ask ahead of time to make sure what is correct.

DH had the gastric bypass. He is almost 2 years out. We usually share no matter where we are eating.
As for the dining plan, don't think it will be a problem. There are 3 adults going this trip. On 2 nights we have a 4th person joining. us. We plan to split what meals we can . For 3 of us , ordering 2 complete meals should be plenty. Maybe just paying for an extra side dish or something . Saving the extra credits for when our friend joins us.
