Split Stay with DDP

We are planning a split stay with a 3 night package at resort #1 (Oct1-4) and a 4 night room only at resort #2 (Oct4-8). Currently we have 6 day hoppers as part of the package, but no DDP. Before deciding to add the DDP I want to make sure I understand how it will work.

Oct1 - DDP
Oct2 - DDP
Oct3 - DDP
Oct4 - DDP credits expire at 11:59pm even if we check in to our second resort in the afternoon
Oct5-8 - No DDP, but refillable mug will still work as its good for 14 days from first use

Is this correct?
