ok..... without a lot more explaining, let's just say that I have a split stay coming up, partial onsite,(all fp+ booked, tickets, dining, etc) and then going 'offsite' to Dolphin. My dolphin res. is NOT currently showing linked on MDE. (LONG story) Here's my question, if I DON'T call, or do anything to change it, can I just proceed along,as is? Just consider it 'offsite' and be done with it? (less than a month away anyway) expert advice needed! (I have a few reasons for not wanting to 'rock the boat' that is MDE.... and I feel like I would be ok just leaving it alone now) since it doesn't change anything at all, planswise.
(I intend to add some days to my park ticket, but not till I arrive anyway,so can't make more fp+ till then anyway)
thank you....:goodvibes

If you don't have ticket entitlements that match up with your off-site Dolphin stay, it really is of no significance to park visiting and your MDE account. When we rent a house and visit the parks, Disney doesn't care. It's the actual tickets that trigger the ability to book FPs.

so what is (is there any) actual benefit to inputting hotel info then? since I am so close to my travel dates anyway by now..... I guess I am looking for a good reason to add anything else to the MDE page?

Onsite hotel info linked to MDE triggers the 60 day FP window. Because you are going so soon, there's no reason to add your Dolphin stay. You can add it if you want but isn't necessary at all because you don't have ticket entitlements.
