I think they should be fine. There's a lap bar that pulls down, so just make sure it's tight. If you have any concerns though, it's best that you sit with your six year old at least the first time, so you can get a feel for it.
Depending on your sizes, you might all be able to ride on one bench together if you want. I've ridden with two teens on one before. Not the most comfortable, but it worked.

My 8 & 6 -year olds were NOT allowed to sit together on Rockin Rollar coaster last trip. Even with DH right behind them. The 6-year old needed an adult in the seat with him.

Interesting, because on my trip a couple of years ago, my 5-year-old was allowed to ride in a row by himself on Barnstormer while I was in the row immediately behind him with his 2-year-old sister.
Thanks for that! That would be great so they can each ride twice and not alone with rider swap. Do you know if three can fit on Big Thunder? My 8 year old isn't as nervous about the Mine Train or Barnstormer and neither likes Space at Disneyland, so doubt they will want to ride it at WDW.
I wonder if Rockin Roller Coaster is more strict because it's more crazy???
