Spinny rides like Dumbo and The Aladdin Magic Carpets?

So I walked right on the tricerotop spin at Animal Kingdom. I rather enjoyed it.
But, for some reason when I stand in line watching those rides, I just can't do it. Like watching them go around and around makes me feel sick. So there always seems to be a line for Dumbo and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. Therefore, I have never ridden these rides in my whole life. Any suggestions on when I can get right on without having to "watch" the ride beforehand.
I know I sound like a weird freak, but it just happens to me.

If you make a beeline for them when the parks first open you can probably get on without a wait.

get in line.

turn your back to the ride.

watch people walking by until its your turn to board.

Shortest lines for Dumbo are usually about an hour or two before park close, especially if it's EMH. That or, yeah, make a beeline for it at opening. With this time of year however, I wouldn't count on many chances at a short wait time. Tonight was pretty good though, we had an average wait of about 15 minutes at around 9:00, right when people could ride while watching the fireworks. :)

That or ride Space Mountain over and over for an afternoon until you hit that inevitable break down, get evacuated from the ride, get your free fastpasses and hop on Dumbo without having to wait! lol

Stinks that it makes you dizzy! I focus my eyes in one spot when I watch the ride, rather than following the elephants back and forth. Maybe that would help you, too? Happy flying!

If you're a freak then I'm one too! I get sick feeling watching them too, BUT, Dumbo is more manageable in the line. The line que is lower than the ride and is covered so you don't have a good view of the ride. It's pretty easy to look the other way and NOT watch it at all. Then when I get up on the loading area, I just focus my attention on other things.

Are you going to a MVMCP while you are there? We walked on the Magic Carpets 3 times in a row during MNSSHP. Maybe it could work for you too?

I always avoided them too for the same reason but I "braved" Dumbo and LOVED it. We rode T-spin and Magic Carpets last trip as well. I like Magic Carpets the best. I agree with the others, just don't watch them while you wait. You'll have a blast.
