SPIDERS...Why did it have to be....SPIDERS

great update!! I love all the sweets pics! That is a very dangerous shop! When I was a CP, for my birthday, my roommates got me the rice crispy mickey head (the big one!) that was covered with a choco covered mickey face on the top! It was more than enough to feed the 6 of us!

Can't wait to hear about your meal!

You totally tortured yourself didn't you!! That shop is not the place to go if you're on Weight Watchers! That is for sure. I know what you mean about that last day. Of course I'm always grateful for the wonderful trip, but it really isn't ever long enough. I think I'm going to try for 2 weeks in summer 2012 so I can see if that is long enough. (If it's not maybe I'll go for 3 weeks the next time) But you're right about the trip report ahead. Somehow that eases the pain a bit. (Though then I'm always a bit sad when the trip report is over.)

Rice Crispy treats always remind me of being a kid...my mom always seemed to make those! I love them to this day!

Yes, I did torture myself....I had a chocolate covered strawberry, on WW they are 2 for 1 point, but I judged by the size 1 strawberry for 1 point!

In Aug 2008 we went for 3 weeks .... stayed 2 weeks with my sis and her family with DVC then Jas and I stayed a week at ASMu....it was too long:scared1: Did I really say that.....actually by the Thursday of that week we were ready to go home! Now, having said that, this trip that I'm reporting on now....I could have stayed at least 5 more days!!! I was so not ready for reality again:rotfl2:

Mmmmm, that fudge, if you've never had is to die for!!! I did purchase a piece at the beginning of the trip and it did last a few days!!!

I did purchase a piece at the beginning of our last trip and it did not last a few days... or even the day... not much more than a few minutes really. Don't know where it went. :rolleyes1
Thanks for the update! :goodvibes I'm hungry now for some reason, even though I just had breakfast. So when are all us peggers gonna have our own little DIS meet? Hmmm??

It's funny how that happens isn't it? Seems to happen around here when there's ice cream in the freezer too:rotfl2:

Why don't we try for one Saturday or Sunday in March? I will send out a PM to everyone later today and see which date works best and which locations!! I can't wait to meet everyone!!

I hate having to say goodbye to Disney World, but knowing that I am not going to be back to see that castle for months is always so hard!

Great pics. Looking forward to hearing about the rest of your last day.

How fun that you are setting up a Dis meet! Enjoy!!

Here we are...our last evening in WDW....and I was full of mixed emotions....happy to have had such a great 2 weeks but it always tugs at my heartstrings when it's time to go home! We decided to head out earlier than we had for any of our other ADR's ... we were going to squish as much as we could into this evening!!!
634.jpg

You can imagine my surprise when we arrived and all the little kiosks were opened for F & W...not that we would try anything, we were saving our appetities for Via Napoli....but it was a bustle of people and it just felt good to be there!!!
635.jpg

Jasmine wanted the cheddar cheese soup from here more than anything, but I eventually talked her out of it....she knew she loved it but I knew she would kick herself if she was too full for dinner....she had picked Via Napoli over Tutto Italia on this trip!!!
637.jpg

We decided we would wait for Off Kilter to hit the stage..we really enjoy their show and the fact we know most of the songs they sing!!!
639.jpg

They definitely know how to entertain!!

641.jpg

Little kiosk for Ireland, I should have written down what they offered but I didn't .... sorry!!
643.jpg

Jasmine in the UK....we both love this part of WS!!!

More little kiosks as we made our way around the World!!! ... and yes I did stop for a GGS, but I noticed there is no evidence of it on film!!!
651.jpg

We noticed the crowd gathering in China so we decided to watch the show, something we hadn't done in years....they are beyond amazing, we could have stood there all night and watched them!!!

Before we knew it, it was time for our ADR at Via Napoli! This restaurant did not disappoint! We both loved it!
664-1.jpg

As you can see, it wasn't that busy when we first arrived, but it did fill up quickly....the noise level got a little high, but I'm not sure if it would always be that way or the table of about 12 that sat down very near us!
665-1.jpg

The long communal table is right in front of the pizza ovens....I thought for sure we would be sitting there but was pleasantly surprised when they showed us to a little table for 2 in the corner

Jasmine with her drink of the evening!!
667.jpg

My spaghetti and meatballs.....to.die.for!!
668.jpg

Jasmine choose the lasagne, it wasn't a traditional lasagne but she said it was good! We did order dessert, but for some reason I didn't take pictures of it...sorry about that!

The pizza ovens!

We would highly recommend this restaurant, the server we had was an absolute doll, she couldn't do enough for us! We sat and let our dinners settle before heading back out into WS. We decided we would stay for Illuminations...no pics, just enjoyed the rest of our evenig.

Next up....travelling home

That's for sure...I always take that last long lingering look at it to keep it fresh in my mind until I can see it again!!

I can't wait to meet all my fellow Winnipeggers who love Disney as much as I do...besides my sister, none of my friends love it like we do!!!

NO! It can't be time for you to leave already! That was one great two week trip! What a fabulous time you had!!!!!!

I always take twice as many pictures my last day. If Jasmine was getting annoyed with you, she would hate traveling with me. :rotfl:

I have NEVER seen a plate of spaghetti with 10 meatballs! What the heck????? Three people could eat all that. Those are huge portions. Jasmine's lasagna looks delish, too. I can't wait to eat there in May. YUM!

On my last day, I also take way too many pictures of the resort on the way to breakfast, on the way back to breakfast. Its like it is taking up time so you are actually there longer. But then once, I drive under those gates, I'm SO ready to be home and that drive, even though its short, seems soooo long to us.

Glad to hear your positive review of Via Napoli - we will be eating there next month!

I know, it makes me sad, but then I keep thinking at least I have a PTR to start right away....Not sure what I'll do when the day comes that we're not going right away again....

I'm so glad I'm not the only one!! I'll be sure to tell Jasmine that:lmao:

I was wishing for a fridge to take home the leftovers....it was so good!!

I'm glad that I actually took pictures of us leaving the resort and at the airport...I'll post all of those next when I wrap up this little puppy!!!

What a great update! A WS evening is the perfect way to end your trip! Via Napoli looks so yummy. I'm going to have to add it to my list:goodvibes

Thanks Jenny! Most of our trips we always go to the MK on our last evening, but the only time it seemed to work into our schedule for Via Napoli was on this evening! The one difference was that I usually spend the entire walk down Main Street crying, but I didn't on this evening! I just wanted to take it all in .... keeps me going until the next trip!

Via Napoli looks great. I saw pictures of it from another trip report too-now I just have to convince DH to eat there and see it in person! I also frantically snap pictures on the last day, it's like trying to take pieces of the World home with us.

You are so right....they are BIG JUNKY APPLES ... and they're so good:cloud9:I have to go and check out your TR's!! I will definitely put a disclaimer of all the food porn on my next TR:rotfl2:

....well......alright-y then..... [*clears throat*]

Great updates! I might just have to put Viva Napoli on my adr list now! I always hate the bittersweet feeling of the last day. I remember we went to the MK and I spent the morning walking around crying....lol.....then we went to DTD and ate lunch at Earl's and then went back to the resort and relaxed!

Aww i'm sad to see your TR coming to an end, but luckily August is not too far away and I'm sure you guys are excited about that.

Via Napoli looks really good, and I'm glad that your last ADR of the trip did not disappoint.

Can't wait to hear the end:goodvibes

It sounds like a wonderful last day!!

I'm so glad to hear good things about Via Napoli. We are trying it for the first time in May and after your pictures I'm really looking forward to it :)

Sorry to see your TR nearing the end but I'm hoping a pre-tr is being planned?:goodvibes

I have only just discovered your trip report and it has reached its end! Oh well, I have caught up over the last few days. It looks like you had a wonderful time and I am glad that you took so many beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
