My DS was barely 3 when we went to Universal and he had a ball. I'm hoping we'll get back there in 2005. They would have a ball together. I'm glad I read your thread, I didn't know there was a Spiderman breakfast. Good to know for next time.

As for Saban, Waaaahhh . I wish he was staying too. The latest rumor (posted on another thread, don't know if you've read it or not) is that Spurrier's going to be the one. I have no idea how this Diser found out or if it's true, but I don't think that would be so bad. I hated him at Florida, but I'd take him here. Who knows what they're going to do, though. I joked with DH saying I heard DiNardo was available and he almost made me pack my bags-LOL!
There's just so much going on I'm so worried they're not going to be focused tomorrow. I really want Marcus Spears and the other seniors to go out with a win.
I could talk about Saban and LSU all night, though. I'll let you get back to your planning.
Come back and post or PM me after the character meal(s). I'd love to know how it was.
Happy New Year to you and have fun. Go Tigers!

I will certainly post whatever I find out about the character breakfast. This will be our 2nd trip to RPR, but we didn't know about the breakfast until yesterday. So, we are gonna try it out!! The last time we went our DS was 3, and he loved everything. We rode Jimmy 14 times in a row...... my ds was getting all he could out of his fotl........... LOL

As for LSU - Yeah, I could talk about them too......... it's a huge topic around here...... DS said he heard that Spurrier said NO...... since he's at SC. A lot of guys around here are saying, Butch Davis. Whoever it is, we are all still sad Saban is leaving......... oh well, Miami NEEDS him......... LOL!

Well, I will certainly PM you when we get home, and give you the scoop!!

Take Care!! Let's hope we get a win tomorrow!!!

I would also like to know about this, please do post whatever you find out!! :):)

Thanks!

We attended the character breakfast last July at Confisco's. It was great! The food was good and the character interaction was the best I've seen. The characters that we saw were Cat in the Hat, Captain America, The Grinch, and of course Spiderman. Our little was only three and very shy and they were great with him, really talked to him (except Grinch who made alot of gestures and was still very attentive), took a lot of time with pictures and was generally not hurried at all. Captain America was actually very good, kidding around a lot about Spiderman being more popular than he was. We also had two teenagers in the group and they enjoyed it too. I'd highly recommend it!! :sunny:

i'm going to be honest with you. we thought it would be great, but we were seriously dissapointed. the food was not that good, plus not that big of a selection. then spiderman forgot to visit our table of 6 kids, then when we got him over the manager explained that he only had about 2 seconds, so we just barely got a picture in. plus, in disney when you go to a buffet like that, most of the drinks are included, but hardly anything was included here. spiderman was awesome though. he balanced himself on the backs of childrens chairs and took great pictures. too bad we didn't get any like that!

This is what I am afraid of! We would only be going because my Son loves Spiderman! I mean he loves all the other characters, but Spiderman is the "main man" as far as super heroes are concerned!:p We have done the Chef Mickeys/Breakfastosaurus/Crystal Palace, but my kids were not really all hung up with Disney characters. Universal is a different story as they love Nick Jr./Cartoon Network/ect. So if Mickey and the gang didn't come to the table often, they didn't really care either! LOL

If Spiderman doesn't come by, he will be disappointed. Do you think it was a fluke the time you went or was Spiderman evasive with all the tables?

Thanks for the help! :)
